So, Im outside in the early morning; its 18 degrees, ready to scoop up the waste my dog just deposited on the lawn next to the hotel where we are staying. The layers of the poop bag are stuck together. I take off my gloves - brrr! - and try with bare fingers. No luck! I lick my fingertips to get more grip; success, it seems - but then I realize I have opened up the seam on the side and what was a bag now is a napkin-like sheet of thin, slimy plastic. OK, I think, lets try another. By now my hands - with wet fingertips - are shaking in the cold wind. Alas, the same result - a napkin-like sheet of thin, slimy plastic. Thankfully, I was able to find a blue plastic bag from the New York Times in my coat pocket. Not environmentally sensitive, but at least it works, Oh, yeah - these bags really are thin, If I had gotten one to work, my hand would have quickly been warmed by the steamy poop inside.

Love the durability and the comfort

These are sturdy bags. They are not as big as grocery bags or other biodegradable bags that I use for my tabletop compost pail. I usually take two bags of these bags with me when I walk my dog. I can usually get away with just using one grocery bag per walk when my dog poops twice. However, this is not the case with these bags. Overall, however, I like these bags because they are biodegradable and thick enough that they are not awkward to use.

I like that they tear off easily and they are flexible, strong thick enough to not be flimsy and biodegradable!

Quick shipping and great product. We havent experienced and tears or break-thrus and plan on ordering these again. They are very sturdy and it makes me feel a little better about all the plastic waste!

Glad to have a plastic-free alternative :) but need to be very careful when tearing a bag from the roll as they have a tendency to rip a hole in the bottom of the bag :(

These bags are easy to open (unlike some others) and I feel better using a product made from vegetable components. I dont have an industrial composting facility for animal waste where I live, but Id rather use this product than standard plastic. It is a more responsible choice.
