Greater than one weekThis is a great product. I got into casual weight lifting a few months ago, and wanted to maximize the gains for my efforts. As the manufacturer describes, it has never caused me any stomach pains or upset. It is a bit pricey compared to bulk Creatine, but the touted increased absorption, and the absence of any digestive complications or pain is worth it to me. I use it a little differently from the directions; taking one capsule in the morning on an empty stomach before breakfast each day, and two 30-40 minutes both before and after lifting. It is best to take with a large glass of water, and continue hydrating for as long as the supplementation regime continues. I prefer receiving this on a regular subscription basis at a lower price than in health/vitamin stores. I have never had any quality issues, inconsistency in results, or been dissatisfied in the least.

> 3 dayCreatine is one of the most - if not THE most studied supplement on the market. It has repeatedly been tested and studied across a variety of medical journals and papers. There is no risk to the kidneys, liver, etc. Creatine will not make you fat or bloated. That being said, while Kre-Alkalyn is just as effective than Creatine monohydrate, it’s not MORE effective nor are there any additional benefits. The Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition found in 2012 that “buffered” creatine like this product produce the same physical results as regular creatine. I simply bought it as I was traveling a lot and figured it would be easier to transport capsules in a marked bottle at an airport rather than a fine white powder. It simply comes down to personal preference. Do you want to mix it into your protein shake or pre workout? Or do you want to pop a couple of pills. TL;DR: Good product, same as regular creative, dinged 1 star for the slightly misleading marketing/claims on this product

> 3 dayAlright - where to even begin when discussing the review of a supplement that aids in muscle growth and weight lifting. Im a 73-year-old former Marine who religiously hits the gym 4-5 times a week, spending 3 hours at a time while there. As Ive gotten older, I noticed that my energy levels, muscle size/definition, and stamina have waned somewhat and that had me concerned. I began reading up on a variety of supplements that one could take to aid in this process, and I subsequently focused on Creatine products. I began first by using Creatine Monohydrate capsules - the most common form of creatine on the market - and by God, yes it worked. After a few weeks my strength levels increased by a good 10-15% depending on the exercise I was performing. Muscle size also noticeably increased in size, and my weight-lifting stamina and strength were noticeably improved. But the side effects - just as advertised - was bloating. In my case, the bloating was all in my stomach, and it showed. Trousers were tighter around the waist to wear, and I gained within the first 2-3 weeks, a good 10+ lbs. But one side effect bothered me (and my wife) the most - and that was the issue of gassy-assy, sigh. I started developing bad intestinal gas issues at the end of the day and by the time I sat down in the evening to watch TV, I was blowin my poor wife off the couch with some absolutely tremendous silent-but-deadly (SBD) farts!!! There is no other way to describe it. Of course, being the typical guy, I first delighted in having the power to force my wife off the couch by these means, but that soon ended when I saw the look on her face. Then I began researching other creatine products and read about versions that had lower PH formulations such as this one here - EFX Kre-Alkalyn. So I ordered, really looking forward to seeing if my bloating would decrease - especially my gas issues. Well unfortunately, the bloating remained and so did the gas issues and that was a huge disappointment, and it made me realize that every digestive system is different. I made sure to investigate if there were other issues at hand that might have been causing my gas. In the end, I discovered it was the Creatine in general that was causing it all. So, I had to stop taking Creatine in general and my issues stopped. Luckily - after stopping my creatine intake - I hadnt lost any noticeable strength or size. In the end, my poor wife of 43 years actually threatened to leave me if I continued with my gass-assy syndrome. It took me a few hours to figure out if I wanted to keep the Creatine and chance it with da Misses, or if I should just quit. Well, the wife won - now Im gas free, my stomach size has gone down somewhat also. So I guess it was the right decision. So the moral of my story is - be careful when using Creatine (especially when you get older), because different types (formulations) basically will have the same effect. I just hope you dont get that overblown colonic back-blast syndrome that I experienced for a few months. In the end, everyone is different and your mileage may vary. Good luck...

> 3 dayJust what I remembered. Haven’t taken Kre Alkalyn in quite a few years, but am trying to step up my game again and remembered it had worked well in the past. No bloated feeling, dehydration issues, and I enjoy pill form. Probably not as cost effective as a creatine mono, but allows me to easily pop a few in my lunch bag and not have to mix it into a shake. Does the job as it should. Just make sure you’re informed on what you’re buying before you pull the trigger. Research is far better than just trusting a few amazon reviews. It’s not a magic pill, but if you understand it’s uses then this is a viable option.

> 3 dayThis Creatine WORKS- . The dosage recommendation of TWO if under 175 pounds seems to me to be about right although some guys on here recommend the stacking phase. I know this creatine is effective because after about 4 weeks I was seeing some substantial growth and it does help in quickly gaining strength. I was also adding in Tonic Tinctures Deer Velver (which is a vary effective velvet and possibly HGH) - When I stacked the two together (3 to 4 EFX pills per day) I BLOATED big time- My experience was to pull back from the EFX and I am actually better off but everyones experiences and bodies are different. What I can say is that EFX is the real deal but dont be deceived into thinking its not-give it some time and DO NOT overdo it- let it take hold and you will see it. I have read other guys comments on HGH and Creatine combined and they also have said they gained very serious muscle mass inside 1 to 2 weeks- as in like 5 to 10 pounds.I was experiencing super fast build up but the water retention was too much -(some say that ebbs and dissipates but for me I could not deal with it -BUT it showed me how powerful the EFX really is- So-my opinion is this stuff works but watch combining with HGH and watch how much you take - start slow in my opinion and see your body reacts. REGARDING water- this was another eason I stopped the EFX-YOU MUST HAVE THE DISCIPLINE TO REALLY CONSISTENTLY DRINK A LARGE AMOUNT OF WATER- AT LEAST ONE GALLON PER DAY-. I was bloating and growing but NOT drinking enough water and when I attempted to hydrate late in the process it was almost too late- I could not properly hydrate -so do it from the start. It works-just probably not for me.

> 3 dayIve only used the product for 4 weeks. I feel more time is needed to give an honest review. Maybe the bottle needs to be finished to give an accurate review.

> 3 dayHonestly, I have to question if this stuff is actually creatine, or if its steroids, with a creatine label slapped on it. This stuff works so insanely well, that I seriously have to ask that question. Not that I truly think this is steroids, but man, it sure feels like it. The first thing I notice when I use it, is my stamina increases in the gym. I stay on average 20-45 mins longer than normal. There have been times where I have worked out for nearly 2 hours, just because I dont feel like leaving. Thats insane to me, given the fact that I am a man who cuts corners at every given opportunity. Second thing I notice, is that generally after a week or so, my strength starts to explode. Weights begin to feel lighter, and my movements become more explosive. I feel like I want to push and press the weight up in the air and catch it. Its crazy. Ive never felt this way from anything legal. This is a very, very inexpensive way to dramatically increase your workout effectiveness. This isnt anything where youre going to gain 10 lbs of muscle in a month, but I generally gain 3-4 lbs of muscle every 4-6 week cycle I use it. I take 2 capsules pre-workout, and 1-2 capsules post workout. On non-workout days, just 2 capsules. The ONLY thing I dont like about it, is the fillers and artificial coloring in the capsules. Totally unnecessary. I dont care that the pills are purple colored. Crazy, crazy good supplement in spite of the artificial colorings and fillers. I highly recommend it to anyone who lifts.
