> 3 day*Updated Review* As per interaction with the customer support form Elegoo, they have been helpful and supportive with making sure my issue was looked into and resolved. Appreciated their quick response and solution, although the error was mainly on amazon’s side. i would just like to say the printer is a great machine and has given amazing results so far without any issues. *Old Review* The “used” printer delivered was in such poor condition, was not cleaned up, the carbon filter was broken from the inside. Had carbon residue all around it. The resin bed still had uncured resin in it meaning it was not cleaned. The body where the tft screen is had resin residue all around it. The mono screen also had resin residue on it. Overall very poor. Even for a used product. At least provide a cleaned product.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent resin printer, but what really makes ELEGOO stand out is the better price point than AnyCubic’s photon mono x, and the level of customer support: I own both printers, and there are merits to either. For out of the box ease, I’d have to give the win to AnyCubic, but it is overpriced and Photon Workshop as a file format for slicing is incredibly limiting, often making my formatting difficult after using lychee slicer and mesh lab/meshmixer to really edit the prints. The Saturn is nice because it comes with out of the box compatibility with chitubox, and that is more flexible with other programs. I will say that build time is significantly slower, but quality is arguably better which you can see at really small scale, and the price is a much better bang for your buck. While the website and support pages need a little rewording grammatically because I think they might have been designed by non native English speakers, the community provides easy answers to most questions, and if you email ELEGOO, they’ll help you with anything and are super fast and beyond nice. I use ELEGOO products for my personal work in my circuit lab as well, and I want to give my latest example of why I choose them over AnyCubic for almost every product: the two printers are comparable and each have their merits, but you’ll never get customer support like this anywhere else. I bought a Saturn out of the box used on eBay and it came with a hidden flaw that caused the stepper mother to detach and tear my limit sensor. I reached out to ELEGOO and told them where I had purchased it, and what happened, and they not only replied almost instantly in the most friendly terms, they also insisted on sending me a replacement cord free and have been corresponding about little questions and anything I could want to know for a few months now. ELEGOO is a company that assumes you are competent and can figure out a printer for a better price, and they want to do anything they can to help you, and ultimately that is why I think if you want to get a high volume resin printer and are willing to do some research, the ethos of their company alone makes them the best choice for an entry into printing or a size upgrade. I have maxed build volume on both prints, and short of massive printing the print time difference will likely not matter much, and frankly the price these are offered at is a bargain and I believe this is because ELEGOO knows it could add bells and whistles, but chooses to make their high quality product available to more consumers. A few years ago, this technology was inaccessible to end users, and ultimately ELEGOO is a pioneer in making 3D printing a part of everyday life, not because of a wifi feature you’ll never use, but because they did everything in their power to release a printer that anyone can buy, with a support team ready to help you learn that you can do it yourself. As an engineer, I believe anyone can design and model 3D prints, and I applaud ELEGOO for caring enough to bring that empowerment to people at a price that makes sense with a team that will help you with anything if you just ask.

Greater than one weekTheres a reason Elegoo is such a well known brand when it comes to resin. After narrowing my search down to 3 options, I decided to go with the Saturn 2. This is a great printer for getting into Resin printing. High quality machine and very easy to get setup and ready to print. Note that resin is a finicky material and youre going to have to do a little work on your end to properly calibrate everything. Take the time to research different calibration and leveling methods to avoid headache. Most negative comments Ive seen about the printer can be attributed to user error rather than anything related to the machine, resin printers are NOT plug and play devices. Once you get everything dialed in, you can crank out some amazing quality prints. The large print bed really lets you crank out a ton of prints at once if you want to. The user interface is very straightforward and easy to use. Only minor inconvenience is the USB port is placed on the right side near the back which can make it cumbersome to reach in some setups, so plan your printer placement accordingly. Highly recommend this machine if youre looking to jump into resin printing.

> 3 dayI have been using Elegoo Mars for a while before getting this Saturn. This is the best 3D resin Printer so far. It actually can print everything with the big bed plate. Quality of the print is awesome. Highly recommend this monster!

Greater than one weekDont get me wrong, The Elegoo Saturn is awesome, in fact I have enjoyed all their products, including their air purifiers and Mercury Plus curing station. I even went as far as to pre ordered the Mercury X. The quality of this Printer is fantastic and has a very sturdy feeling to it and when filled with resin it does not stink up the whole garage. Unfortunately the LCD Panel was scratched when I received it. Elegoos Customer service response time has been great and been very helpful, but not necessary for what I was asking them about. I have sent them images of the scratch marks on my screen when I opened it hoping to get the screen replaced. I received a response mentioning that it should not affect my print quality. I performed a thin exposure print as directed by support and the scratches leave a very fine line in the print. While its not super visible, I am disappointed that a 500$ printer came with scratches on its screen and would cost me another 80$ to replace...
