Greater than one weekAbout a day after receiving the printer it lost power. It died in the middle of a print and will no longer turn on. When pressing the power switch in the back you can hear an audible click inside the printer but nothing powers on. I just wanted a replacement but was only given the option for a refund which is ok but not ideal. Was very excited for this when it arrived. Very frustrating on it failing almost right out of the box. Update: The customer service was quick and helpful getting a new printer out to me however they didnt cover to ship it back. I did get this printer on sale but paying to ship the other one back basically canceled out the sale price. If I would have paid full price I dont think I could justify even a 3 star having yo pay 20% more money just because the first one broke.

> 3 dayThe print quality when it printed was amazing. However I had 2 issues with the printer during time I owned it. On 1st issue support was helpful and got things resolved quickly.

> 3 dayBought this as a replacement to an anycubic machine that took a crap on me. I was impressed right away with this machine, as it was a bit more straight forward on its setup. I like the menu options better and the software is okay, but nothing to write home about. However. There is a learning curve with resin printers, I got this machine because I do alot of miniatures, and when I say alot I mean it. This thing cranks out awesome minis when you take the time to set it up properly. Be patient, this machine prints a little slow. But will give you beautiful models when you are dont with it. (Also get a magnetic build plate, I got one from a 3rd party seller but it will make your life 10x easier!)

04-06-2025It has a learning curve, getting the machine dialed in to the resin and room conditions, but once set it has worked excellent. I am new to the resin printing side of making things and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality this machine produces. It is amazing.

> 3 dayThe first Saturn I received had great quality and function, until about 3 days after I got it and the motor got stuck pressed against a full vat of resin and the LCD. I returned that machine for a replacement Saturn which I received. The replacement machine I received had a bad z axis motor as well. I contacted elegoo support and since March 1st I have been waiting for a replacement Z axis motor. After the replacement part never got delivered to the proper address, I have finally decided to return the Saturn printer. I will be purchasing a different brand.

> 3 dayI ordered this Elegoo printer because my last resin printer was not leveling to the bed properly due to a sensor placement issue. On the old printer the sensor is non adjustable, on this printer it is so I upgraded. Initial thoughts: came well packages in pristine condition, shiny clean screen. Since I was already partially experienced from my last printer the setup took about 10 minutes from opening the box and being ready to print. The instructions were clear and it came with a leveling paper and some other parts (scraper, gloves, funnel, etc.). For about the first week I was doing 8-10 hours of printing per day across 3-4 prints. My routine was to print, pull off build plate(something I could not do on my old printer without a relevel) scrape off prints, put build plate back and repeat. The most major issue I encountered with printing was prints sticking too well to the build plate and needed to be pounded off(I solved this later). Broken Screen!: after my initial few days printing I had a misprint. My print failed and had to be scraped from the build plate, I also had to scrape loose scraps out of the vat. After setting the build plate back to home it started grinding, I stopped the motor as fast as I could but it was too late. The build plate pushed something through the FEP, through the polarizer on the screen, and possibly into the actual screen itself. I promptly emptied my vat and replaced the FEP with some I had from before, then I contacted support. I sent an email over and in less than 24 hours I had a reply asking for pictures and a model number, after a few quick and easy email I was informed that they would send out an entirely new screen to replace the one that broke. Overall: I am extremely impressed with the build quality and precision, outside a 1 rough equivalent (that takes months and hundreds of $ to ship) this is the best resin printer that Ive seen for under about 2,000$. After getting settings dialed in and trying 2-3 different resins, I settled on Elegoos own gray resin. I found that after choosing the profile for the Saturn in Chitubox and using a 20-24s bottom layer exposure and 3s normal layer exposure I am able to get flawless prints at least 95% of the time, assuming I actually build supports correctly. With these settings I am also able to remove models from the build plate much more easily.
