> 3 dayVery well built and it suits my needs, but its not the super-cooler I was expecting. I will say that, of all the coolers Ive owned in this size range, it is easily the best Ive owned. A sack of ice melts in about 12 hours, BUT... that meltwater stayed very cold for three full days. Its well designed and easy to carry. No idea how it compares to a Yeti, because I refuse to spend that kind of money on a cooler (Yetis ball caps alone are $30 and that stinks of marketing hype), but for the price, this is a really great little ice chest. It gets my recommendation.

> 3 dayI bought this for my husband who is a carpenter and is constantly on construction sites. It is very durable and easy to clean up once he gets home.

> 3 dayMy husband uses this for a lunch box (a big lunch box) underground in the coal mines. In this cooler he fits 6 gatorade bottles, 1 regular sized water bottle, 4 cans of pop, lunch items, a boxy underground cellphone/pager, and a tray(it comes with the cooler) the tray fits perfectly in the top of the cooler. The latches work perfectly! We have no complaints!

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these to give to apprentices. Love these boxes and would absolutely buy another if I could figure out how to wear out the one Ive been using 6-7 days a week on construction sites all over the country. Plenty of storage and keeps you food hot or cold. Im 61 240#s and have no problem sitting on this box to eat. Engel coolers are quality and I expect them to last quite a while. I just wish they made more of them in the USA. Side note, do yourself a favor and buy an extra storage tray, I use one for utensils and condiments and the other as a basic junk drawer at work, keys, wallet, phone, pens note pads and all that...

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these for my sons for Christmas. One works in the underground mines and one is an apprentice at a machine shop. They requested this brand cooler. The quality and durability seems to be good. Only time will tell. Ill come back and editor needed!

> 3 daythe 19 quart cooler was a great size for 2 people for a day. We took this on a kayaking day trip. Inside i fit 4 of the small square tupperware containers, each holding a sandwich, as well as 2 soda cans, 7 bottled waters or teas, and several capri sun pouches. (I took the tray out so everything could fit) Granted, that didnt leave a ton of room for ice, but everything stayed nice a cold. Insulation: ice doesnt seem to keep long in this cooler. Ive used it twice, and both times the ice melted fast. Once the ice melts though, the water stays cold. Just make sure everything is in something water tight and youre good. Watertight/drybox: 10 out of 10. The latched stay locked, even when flipped upside down in a kayak. No extra water got in, no water got out. Ive only used it as a cooler, not as a dry box, but I have every confidence that it would keep everything well protected. Handle: gotta watch the little handle on the lid, itll pinch your fingers if you let it close on you. The shoulder strap does help with this. Carrying: When its full, it weighs a decent bit. Makes it a bit heavy if you have to carry it very far. It isnt too bulky though so that helps to compensate for the weight.

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for my husbands last one that he used every day for the last 5 or so years. Held up like a champ until the bitter end. He used it as a lunch box during the week and a drink cooler for the boat on the weekends. Engal will always be our brand because of how well theyve held up to our abuse for the last 5 years.

> 3 dayi work construction and all the guys i work with swear by this cooler. we all use them as lunchboxes and even in direct sunlight your lunch is gonna stay cold until lunchtime and even until you clock out. if you put ice in this bad boy itll go 3 or 4 days if you keep it in the shade, what more could you ask for? its light, strong enough to sit on (im a big dude), its got a little cubby for your phone, keys, wallet and utensils and it stays cool. no brainer
