When you buy from Amazon, they get put in improperly sized boxes and are far more likely to come torn or spilled. First, I adore brand’s epsom salts and usually never have an issue with them. Today I received a bag that was unsealed at the top and and had a tear near the bottom. As a result, a good portion of the bag spilled out into the shipping box. This bag is a different quality from the last bag I received. Not sure if that’s the issue, but thankfully, I still had the old bag to pour out the remaining salt into.

A cup of this in an average size tub is perfect for a salt bath. It doesnt have a scent, which I appreciate. Its a good value!

I have small areas of psoriasis on both knees and both elbows. Nightly soaks in the tub do wonders to help with the itching and scales, and such soaks also help dramatically with my arthritis pain. Id been buying epsom salts from the grocery store, but theyve started selling only scented stuff and I dont like the scents they choose. (Who wants to smell like a candy cane? Or an old ladys underwear drawer?) Id bought some Dead Sea salts via Amazon in the past and they were okay but definitely overpriced. When I saw this, I figured Id give it a try. These Epsom salts are literally like none Ive ever seen before: theyre shiny, uniformly-shaped crystals versus the dull, rocky chunks from the grocery store. I dont know why, and I dont know how they do that, but theyre certainly pretty in the huge apothecary jar next to the tub where I keep them. As for how they work: theyre just as relaxing as the grocery stuff store without the nasty fake fragrance. These seem to almost be a bit effervescent, although that might be my imagination. I like them. Ive ordered them twice. I wish they had a Subscribe & Save option because, as someone who uses 2 cups in her bath every. single. night., Id certainly sign up for it.

Im a hugeee fan of Epsom Salt for recovering from really hard workouts. I train really intensely with weights, 5 days per week, and doing that consistently day after day really takes a toll on your body: aches, indefinite soreness, etc. I noticed last year (after a suggestion from a friend) that soaking in an Epsom salt bath REALLY helps me recover from workouts. If I lay down in an Epsom salt bath for 20 minutes or so, my muscle soreness is dramatically less, and Ill actually feel a lot better the next day. Its been tremendously helpful in pushing past barriers. For the last few months, Ive been taking Epsom salt baths about twice per week. So, when I totaled up how much money I was spending, I was a bit shocked. Buying a 1lb bag of Epsom salts from Target is actually super expensive. 5 or 6 dollars usually. Thats when I found this stuff: way cheaper, huge bag, will last me a while. Ive been using it and completely love it. Same great results as always, but way less cost. The only thing I will mention is this: these salts are NOT scented, so if youre looking for the more luxurious ones, you might want to consider a different type.

Epsoak Epsom Salt is a great product to buy at a great price from Amazon. I have used Epsom Salt baths frequently for years as part of my health and body maintenance. Epsom Salt is inexpensive to buy at drugstores but when I added up my yearly cost the total surprised me! Also, drugstores do not sell it in bulk so I had to buy several containers at a time and then make numerous trips throughout the year to buy more. While I was contemplating how to make my yearly purchase of Epson Salt less expensive and also reduce my trips to the drugstore a friend told me that Amazon sells it. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that Amazon sells a 19 lb. bag of Epsoak Epsom Salt at such a great price! it costs me less now to buy what I was purchasing before at drugstores and on top of it my trips are reduced. This bag will last me a long time and when I need to purchase more it will only take one visit to Amazon. I especially like this brand of Epsoak Epsom Salt as it is of premium quality. I mix it with my favorite body oil and use it as an exfoliating scrub which makes my skin very soft. Also, right before going to sleep at night I will make a nice warm bath with it, put in some Lavender Oil, and soak for 30 minutes which puts me in a very relaxed state. It is a great way to detoxify the body, soothe any muscle pain, and relieve aching feet. I highly recommend this premium product for its numerous benefits.

I use about 4-6 large mug fulls of this per bath it fills a small mixing bowl. This helps me feel lighter and more relaxed also shed a lot of dead skin. This type of bath with this amount really helps you to get magnesium through the skin barrier and to break up the dead layer of skin more deeply than you can with just water or steam alone. I combine this kind of bath once a week with my exfoliation mit and it’s astonishing how much more I get off than with my normal bath and this price makes it so worth it. I only do it once a week so this is a bit more than a months worth for me and maybe you too. Have a soothing bath and relax.
