Epsoak Epsom Salt 5 lbs. Magnesium Sulfate USP

I used a different epsom salt before this one so I was kinda winging it with how much to use in the tub, I over did it. I did feel sick after but at least I know its good salt and next time I will find the correct amount to use.

These epsom salts are great. Excellent to put in a bath to relieve body ache, muscle tension, detox, relieve stress, and for flu/cold. Before putting these in your bath you must first add about 1/2 cup baking soda to neutralize chemicals in the water, wait several minutes for it to dissolve, and then add 1 to 1.5 cups epsom salts (for adults) or 1/2 cup epsom salts for children. You may also add essential oils of your choice. Minimum of 20-30 minutes soaked in this bath is necessary. The point of this type of bath is to induce a sweat so that the epsom salt, aka magnesium sulfate, flushes toxins out of your body through the skin. You may feel a bit light headed afterward but that is simply a sign of the detox process. There are many other uses for them but these are the ones I find most helpful for my family, especially when the flu and cold goes around.

This is really good for you if you have sore muscles or need a good soak. I used this for a soak and felt much better afterwards. Even if you havent had a sprain or arthritis you can benefit from this soak. The product is healthy for you and allows your body to absorb magnesium through your skin. This helps you to relax. I highly recommend keeping this item stocked in your home. This is high quality Epsom salt. It can also be used as a plant fertilizer because magnesium that is in it the plants need.

I bought this because I get headaches from any type of perfume or scented stuff. All the ones sold at grocery stores are scented. Even if it doesn’t say scented, they’re are. Just read the ingredients… it shouldn’t say anything more than magnesium Sulfate. And this product is pure Magnesium Sulfate so no added scents or oils.

A hot bath with a couple of cups of this Epsom salt is very relaxing. I dont know that the Epsom salt is doing much of anything, but I like the ritual. This is also beautifully packaged, which always bespeaks quality. Kind of a ghostly white plastic and a tasteful label design. Really nice. I want to buy the largest size the next time I order. Something I like to have on hand. A little indulgent self-care. Its not going to do you any harm.
