Perfect little vacuum for my son. He has a 1,400 sq ft place w/minimum carpeting; at least 98% LVP. This vacuum is perfect for him. Light, easy to use and maneuver with ease, not at all loud like some. Love the washable filter and ease of emptying collection canister! Great suction as well, more then I thought it would have. Has a place on the back to store the detachable wand. Genius how the handle has the little brush built in to vacuum upholstery and small jobs, slide it back up to attach the wand again. No parts to lose. Auto retract cord works great. Love how it can be pulled around on wheels or light weight enough to be picked up as you go along. Rake setting for rugs works well. No power brushes on head, but perfect for his needs. Great value! Speedy delivery.

Updated Review: After struggling with this thing to vacuum my cellar two or three times, I replaced the broken hose on my Hoover and went back to using that on my cellar floor. This vacuum is just too much work for me to use, maintain, and store. Ive retired it to a corner, where it will sit until I can find another home for it. Original review: I bought this to replace my Hoover commercial portapower hand vacuum, the plastic stretch hose on which broke in two at the handle after three years of intermittent use. So, I decided to try something different. The hose on this does not stretch, a plus for me. Ive only used it once so far to vacuum my hardwoods, area rugs, and cement cellar floor. Will take some getting used to. The suction on this thing is phenomenal, due in part to the design of the floor attachment, which is flat and hugs the floor. I read the instructions and experimented with all the settings and combinations on both hardwoods and flat pile area rugs. It works well on my hardwoods using the carpet settings. The hardwood setting hugs the floor too tightly, making it difficult to move. The carpet setting works on no pile area rugs only if you pull the wand towards you. If you try to push it forward, it gets hung up on the carpet, regardless of how you use the settings. It does not work at all on my pile carpets. The hose is a bit cumbersome because its pretty stiff, but Im tall and I can work with it. So, I finished vacuuming and even though the dirt cup was only half full, I decided to empty and wash it. Unfortunately, the dirt cup does not separate from the foam filter housing (you can remove the foam filter, but not the housing), so to wash either one they both get wet. And, when I checked the foam filter, it was filthy and required washing as well. Very cumbersome to work with. Currently, the entire housing and filter are laying in front of my baseboard heater trying to dry. I got this to use on my cement cellar floors, and it appears to be fine for that using the carpet settings. Picks up cat litter, dust, and small debrs. There is a small brush for upholstery, but no decent crevice tool, which I need to clean my dryer screen housing and vents. I do like the retractable cord and that the wand attaches to the machine for storage. I also like that it has wheels and I can easily pull the vacuum behind me. Ill use it for a bit and see if I can work with its shortcomings. I like to keep my vacuum dirt cup clean with each using. Not sure how well that will go because cleaning and drying is a time eater and I have no sink in my basement. Just not a good fit for me.

I have three big pups lab, golden and at. Bernard who shed non stop, lol. This lightweight powerful easy to use floor vacuum works amazing. Does not scratch floors picks up all the fur balls. I love that you can rinse out the canister after use. No more dusty bags!

Ive owned and used this sweeper for 2+ years. It works well on hard floors and the removable canister empties like a charm. Excellent sweeper for the price. When I first received this sweeper, the retractable cord feature didnt work. I returned it, they sent me a replacement, and Im so glad: the retractable cord feature is so stinkin satisfying. I dont have to deal with wrapping up the cord when Im finished and its awesome. I havent owned many sweepers in my life, but I am glad I purchased this one. - 25 year–old female

People complained about not doing throw rugs but right by your hand is an airflow adjustment for all floors and it works well when open for my throw rugs. I wish the adjustment lever were tighter because sometimes is opens when I have it closed and my hand pushes it. Also on the roller head is a clip, push it and the underside lifts for carpets. Someone complained that the metal section comes off, well I cant see how that can happen if you lock it into place. The vac is perfect for people with long hair, no rollers and brush to get hair wound on. It is light but I wish the attached crevice brush tool was removable to place on the end of the longer pipe to clean my bath vents. The only thing I dont like is it needs another tool for upholstery and the pipe alone is difficult for ceiling spider webs the pipe would scratch the paint, the included tool is just not right for ceilings it needs a brush but maybe I can find one. It is easy to use, love the cord rewind, easy to pull the tank off and easy to empty it. The tool included does swivel all the way round so it worked flat under the bed.

It seems to work well and has decent suction. I got the used item and it was as good as new and I saved $10 bucks. The only beef I had is the there is no crevice tool included.

I wanted to love this it’s a great vacuum ect. - the hose is way to short - the power cord is even shorter - self retractable cord.. kinda, it doesn’t have a lot of power to retract the cord has to be perfectly strait to wind in and it only works for about half the length of the total cord. Finally you have to pump and push the cord the remainder of the way. Please note despite all that , I’m keeping it because of the price and the fact that it glides better then the bagged one ,. Oh also has a metal wand instead of the cheep plastic one that always broke!

Very good suction (pet-free household), works well on hard and carpeted floors, super easy to clean, loving the in-built brush to reach narrow spaces, optimal cord length (can do a large room without reconnecting). Key drawback- wobbly attachment of the wand/tube, doesn’t sit tight, gets disconnected easily (you can work around it, but the design could certainly be improved).

Ive been researching vacuum cleaners for under $100 and liked the reviews for this one so took a chance on it since I have the option to return it for free. This power house of a vacuum has far exceeded my expectations! The suction is very powerful, and is so easy to use. Everything is right there at the click of a button. The materials are high quality and love the retractable cord. Easy to empty and love that I dont have to buy disposable vacuum bags! All in all Im thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write. At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind. Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place. But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.
