eureka WhirlWind Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Lightweight Vac for Carpets and Hard Floors, Blue

Im a happy camper. This vacuum has the sucking power of my first Eureka (late 1970s) and I love it. It isnt big, the cord isnt long enough, and attachments dont exist but it cleans so very well. On hard floors. This same fantastic sucking power makes it hard to use on wall-to-wall carpet, the picture of area rugs is a clue. If you have shag rugs (really?) lots of carpeted rooms and few hardwood rooms, this isnt your dream vacuum cleaner. Just being able to get the Cheerios off the dining room floor and small pebbles from our entryways makes it a winner for me!

We have a busy home full of boys and this was the perfect addition to clean up daily. Easily stored. Empties canister with no fuss.

I have only laminate floors with a few wool rugs because of allergies to synthetic carpet fibers. I have a cat, and I could not find a vacuum that would pick up everything off of the floors. My other vacuums would scatter the tiny cat litter pieces and stray fur all around the laminate flooring. Not this one! It picks up everything!! Also, its so light and easy to use. I am short, and I can adjust it to my height perfectly. It even cleans the dust from floorboards and small spaces. The retractable cord is such a great feature. Now I can actually vacuum my entire place and its fully clean! I am THRILLED with this vacuum!

Excellent for the price. Pros: Cleans as well as the overpriced Dyson it replaces. Light, easy to maneuver, with nice feature of building the small brush attachments into the handle so you never have to find them or lose them. Brilliant! Bagless canister very easy and quick to empty, and less messy than the dead Dyson. Cons: -3 point wheel base makes it easy to tip over with normal motions. Good news is it doesnt shut off when that happens. - The toggle for floor/carpet is convenient on top of floor attachment, but sticks up in floor mode, making it get stuck under sofas and furniture. Very annoying when you try to vacuum UNDER things. Easy redesign to fix by making a sliding toggle instead of seesaw design - The nice retractable self winding cord is much shorter than expected, which limits the reach. I have to reposition plug 5 times to do one level of house, when the previous vacuum only needed two times. Easy and cheap fix for Eureka..should be a recall.

This vacuum works great. Has a lot of suction and picks up everything. Well worth a little price did it cost?

The suction is amazing I was able to get the pet hair off everything… my house now looks like who got pets!

I love this little vacuum. I did not expect it to be as powerful as it is considering the price. But the suction is very strong, and its light-weight and easy to use. I definitely would recommend it.

I live in a 1 bedroom apt. and am replacing a 25 year old Hover upright. First off, easy to assemble. Light weight, easy to tow. Plenty of cord to reach about. No bag with a useful detachable way to dump the dust or other stuff vacuumed up. The brush can rotate to reach under furniture is a plus. The handle has 3 suction settings so on the lowest setting it wont try to suck up a throw rug in the bathroom. Extended, the handle brush works fine for cleaning window stills and vacuuming furniture. Lowering the brush extension on the brush works really well on hard floors as well. The tube adjustable connection between the hose and brush allows people of different height fit right in. Over all, A well thought out vacuum.

Very light weight and easy to use.

I have a small apartment with tile floors but 4 cats. I love this little vacuum! I love the canister and the ability to see what I may have sucked up from under the couch! It has a few very cool features for carpet and for floor! Perfect for my little homestead! And worth every penny!
