> 3 dayThis vacuum is perfect for getting under furniture and hard to reach places. It’s lightweight which I love and easy to clean. I was looking for a vacuum that would get under my sofas so I wouldn’t have to move them and this one does just that! The suction is amazing. I highly recommend!

Greater than one weekOkay so this canister. Im a professional house cleaner, for the past 8 years and counting. I have used the eureka mighty mite for the majority of that time and, while its a great vacuum itself, the most common thoughts I had were, man I wish this had a retractable cord, and, wouldnt it be neat if there was a bagless option? And then lo and behold. Eureka answers my unspoken prayers like theyre some kind of mind readers, or Im not the only one with those thoughts. Lets start with the basics. This thing just looks sleek and professional. Its super lightweight, maybe even lighter than the mighty mite but I cant say for sure because that would require me to read the specs and Im not doing that. Ive used it a dozen times so far and I can easily cover a whole house without emptying the canister. The retractable cord hasnt failed me once. I love that the upholstery brush is attached to the hose and cant fall off and get lost in my car. I love that the wand is extendable and metal so it cant break like the plastic one in the MM. Its quieter than the MM. It moves across the floor easily and the adjustments for hard floor, carpet and upholstery are so much better than the previous guessing game on the MM. The suction power is amazing, it picks everything up the first go round and you dont have to repeatedly run over that one stupid leaf that for some reason just cant be recognized. Not with this thing, this baby picks it up first try. I have exactly zero complaints about this thing. Zero. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations for daily use. Seriously if someone had told me in my 20s that Id be borderline forming an emotional attachment to a vacuum in my 30s Id have been horrified. Yet here we are and when I tell you this vacuum is amazing..... Honestly its amazing.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a similar vacuum (different brand). And I absolutely LOVE this guy! It has great suction, and is a quality, sturdy item. Much more than the last one I had. I love that the brush attachment is always attached to the hose (so no more hunting around for it). The hose has a solid metal piece that has a click on attachment that keeps the hose connected. My last vacuum would drop the plastic piece off the hose all of the time - really annoying. All in all, super happy with this!

> 3 dayI very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write. At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind. Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place. But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.

Greater than one weekGreat, not too loud, does a good job! Only down is the vent part on the handle should be more hard to move. I keep hitting it with my hand, and cord could be longer

> 3 dayThis vacuum is perfect for my needs....small, lightweight, no bag and great suction. The only improvement needed is to add to the cord length.
