Evergreen CECOMINOD073162 GE • Genteq 1/3 HP 230 Volt Replacement X-13 Furnace Blower Motor

HVAC tech came and diagnosed problem as the EMC in the blower motor. Quoted $300+ just for the EMC, & $600+ to replace the motor, and then $250 for installation. Ordered Evergreen blower motor for $210, my husband installed it himself, and within 4 minutes, our heat was working just fine. Would definitely order again! Saved us A LOT of money

Evergreen Genteq is the replacement for the GE ECM Motors. As I understand it, the company changed names / reconfigured in the last 15 years. Just double check your HP & voltage, and these will fit either cw or ccw. Just plug & play. They even self test after installation to determine which way they need to rotate. The only one GE ECM that my A/C tech could find anywhere was 4-5 times the price. So I just ordered this. 1 year now since installing this to replace my 16 yr old blower motor and its still going strong.

Works great! Great value compared to oem motor... fairly easy to install the hardest part is removing the blower wheel from the old motor.

Motor worked great, still working great and at a fraction of the cost. The supply houses that would sell it to me quoted me $900-$1200 without an account for the part. Carrier, the company who makes the handler wouldnt even talk to me. So a week without AC in the summer and I couldnt get any help from the supply houses or the company. Guess which brand I wont be buying anymore.

I bought this motor to replace my Broad Ocean KMSAH014C01 that was making my a/c freeze up in the early morning hours. It was delivered the day after I ordered it, nice speedy delivery. Once I was able to get the old motor out installation was quick and easy. I will tell anyone replacing a motor to make sure you have a 6 flat file to remove the old motor before you begin. The motor came with a harness but it was not necessary. The new motor is so much more quiet than my old one. I am very pleased with my purchase. If anything malfunctions I will update my review.
