> 3 dayMy tarantula likes it, and it’s great to see her happy. I love the doors as well. The screen on top is starting enough to keep my Siberian forest cat out.

> 3 dayI have ordered a tank online before. It came shattered. I didnt even have to open the box to hear the glass pieces and see them falling out through the box edges. Based on user reviews, and the fact that none of my local stores carry the small wide in stock, I took a chance. The shipping box was thick and clearly stickered GLASS. Inside, the tank was protected by eight very sturdy corner blocks. The tank arrived in perfect condition. Between the packaging, shipping, and tank features, I am very happy.

> 3 dayGreat product! Works perfect for my G. rosea female who needed a tank upgrade. I could easily have a whole shelving unit full of these; they are really nice to use as a display.

> 3 dayThis is a really nice terrarium. I have it for my baby frilled dragon and its just the right size for an energetic, arboreal reptile like a frilly. The glass doors open 180 degrees instead of just 90 which is great for the extra elbow room. The lock feels a little flimsy, its just a plastic latch thats somewhat difficult to grasp. I kind of wish there wasnt a big bar dividing the top of the screen because my lamp just barely fits being a centimeter from the plastic/metal and I worry about it warping over time from the heat. Other than that, its a very nice quality tank, the bottom is water-proof (great for a mini pond or waterfall) and the backdrops that come with it are usually styrofoam which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Good for me because my frilly climbs all over it day and night. If it were plastic it probably wouldnt be climbable.

Greater than one weekI bought this enclosure for a tarantula, and knew going in that I would do modification to the top. I took out the metal wire mesh screening and installed acrylic panes with ventilation holes drilled in because some tarantulas like to walk across the mesh upside down and its a hazard of them getting their 2 toe claws caught in the mesh and ending up hanging by a foot or falling. Directly after I received the exo terra I saw that the top that has 4 locks was very hard to get in and out, but I had a largish tarantula being delivered the next day and needed to get it modified quickly. Despite sanding the edges of the insert repeatedly this is still very difficult to open the top and realign it. The double door locking mechanism is pretty hard to open an shut. I think the enclosure is warped as its just never worked smoothly or right. Im not ruling out getting a second one, but hopefully its less shoddy than this one.

> 3 dayI bought 12 on sale and with a coupon for about $40 a piece. I wouldnt pay over $50 for one this size, but they are what they say they are. I love the look of these and the front/top accessibility make for easy work. This size is great for many pets but i primarily use them for terrestrial invertebrates. Maybe some young reptiles and amphibians would work, or and ambuse predator like a pacman. The new stainless screens are a great improvement but are easily removed to be replaced with glass or plastic for spider safety. All in all Ill be buying more when the price is right.
