First off, the product arrived broken. There was no packing material inside the terrarium and one of the doors fell out and shattered. Framing was also poorly attached which contributed to the door falling out and breaking during shipping. Vendor was nice enough to send a replacement door vs me hauling the thing back to UPS. However, when I took everything apart to replace the door I removed the background and found a DEAD GECKO!!. At this point, what do you do? Just roll with it, I decided. Now, less then 1 week after getting our Gecko we noticed that he likes to climb and sit on the cut-out at the top of the background. Problem is the opening is big enough for a Gecko to crawl through and then hell end up behind the background and gets stuck. He cant turn around and will eventually die unless you are lucky enough to find him and rescue him. There is no point in having this large of a cut-out and you should be able to seal it from the top. Otherwise youll end up with a dead Gecko.

DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. If you want to get a broken terrarium, order one. If you want to get a replacement that comes in broken, order another one! IF YOU WANT THREE BROKEN TERRANIUMS, ORDER THREE! This is what happened to me. I understand accidents happen, but at this pops int this is ridiculous. No proper handling for such a fragile item. I didnt even have to open the third one that came in since I can hear the huge clump of glass shaking in the box.

I did not order this terrarium from Amazon.com but I do own this specific one and I love it! PROS: My pacman frog has called this terrarium home for about 2 years now. It is very beautiful and alluring. The terrarium is made very well and the glass doors are very convenient. Decorating the terrarium is actually kind of fun. At first I thought it would be a pain but you can make it look however you want and there are a lot of possibilities. My friends are always checking on my frog and what I have done with his tank this week. It looks more expensive than it is. Live plants make great decorations and add to the fun!! The terrarium holds heat well and is elevated so you can put a heater under it. This Terrarium is semi child proof as the doors lock and most people cant figure out how to open it LOL. CONS: The top screen has places for you to put cords through such as a fogger or water pump. The only problem I have had is that if you feed your pet crickets they may escape through the cord areas but the problem is easily solved by rotating the screen so the slots are at the front of the tank. This presents a problem if you want crickets AND cords but the Exo Terra fogger is a rip off so if you get it make sure you keep your receipt for the day that you tired of it. I would suggest getting the Exo terra light for the tank as it snaps into place and fits nicely. I thought I would need a heater but the light keeps the tank warm enough (for my specific demands). FYI my light housing (not ordered form Amazon) did not come with a bulb so keep an eye out for that you might have to buy one. Make sure that if you get this you clean it a lot. I clean mine at least once a week. If you let it get too dirty gnats fit right through the screen and will invade! Plus keeping it clean will keep you and your pet happier and healthier.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS if you are buying a small snake or hatchling. They will scape out of the terrarium through the small vents in the back. This is a serious flaw that is not warned against. If you get this for a small creature, be prepared to have a very upset family member when they realize their pet has ESCAPE from a seemingly secure terrarium. Seriously disappointed and we will be asking for a full refund plus refunding of the pet that we bought this terrarium for. BEWARE!

My geckos love this tank. Easy to feed and clean. Worth the price!

I got this for my lepord gecko after I put her in it she started claiming the back wall and felt right at home in this terariam. I plan on getting another one for my daughters gecko.
