This is the clamp-on light you bought in the past minus the glow paint inside - made well the base is ceramic as they all were years ago the power cord has a switch - the clamp seems sturdy but will not tolerate huge heavy lights w/o flopping this was designed to point down as a critter heater after all Will take a 100W bulb w/o melting - overall for the price you cant go wrong - would recommend..

Very good lamp for me I have to use 120 and 150 watt bulbs when my AC is on for my chameleon. This fixture gives my bulbs a few more weeks than my old fixtures. I have also recently found 120 watt Philips Argo plant lights and is working great.

The light arrived missing the clamp, this is not fit for use. Also it doesnt have a UK plug fitting!!!!

After receiving replacement product as first one was damaged it is a good light fixture for my turtles, downside is the clamp doesnt feel very secure and is quite fiddly to fit, it also cant be used on glass. Glow doesnt last very long but does the job.
