Installed in an Acer 10+ year old laptop 1.8ghz pentium, 8GB ddr3, windows 10,,,, WOW what a difference in speed. Not exaggerating, its ALOT faster. Highly recommend for an upgrade, then just buy a 2.5 sata case and use your old SATA as an external HDD.

This is actually a 256Gb drive unlike the 128Gb I received last time. Didnt know it wasnt 256Gb until I went to install it in a customers laptop. That is why I am sending the 128Gb back.

I was upgraded an older all-in-one WIndows PC abd did not want to invest a lot to speed it up from an older mechanical hard drive. This was a great price and works just like the major brand SSDs. I cannot speak for how long it will last, but for my purpose it revived an old computer

My PC is formatting this drive at a block rate of around 300mbps which is pretty standard. Formatting at this rate will take a little over an hour and I will monitor the drives temperature and test transfer rate. Im going to go ahead and install an OS on the drive because I think it will perform better as a primary drive. I will send a follow up review later. The following days I installed my os and got my games running. I immediately noticed that so programs are running better and faster. The os boots up in less than 30 seconds. Read write rate is around 540mbps. ***Update*** its been a few weeks. This hard drive is running as my primary hard drive and is running stabily and normally so far. I notice no heat issues or slowness in fact my PC is about 60% faster than it was with the standard hard drive. Im extremely happy with my purchase. ***One Month Update** It has been almost a month and I am using this SSD drive as my primary drive. I have since upgraded memory and processor as well and all is functioning very well.

I wanted to swap out the old HDD in my PS3 slim in an attempt to make it load games faster and was pleasantly surprised! Downloaded ‘The Last of Us’ and loading times are significantly shorter! Definitely would recommend if you’re replacing an old HDD.

Was having error issues with my PS4 hard drive crashing, corrupting data, etc. I am pretty sure COD warzone killed it. I watched a youtube video to swap this and decided to try it. It works great! The swap was easy. Only had to remove 5 screws. Plugged it in, downloaded the ps4 update to a usb (also in the youtube video), re-signed in to my stuff and just redownloaded everything. The speed for loading is much faster than before, and now I have more storage! Wish I did this sooner. Highly recommend.
