FastCap PSSR16 16 FastPad Standard Reverse Measuring Tape

I use this tape meaasure on a daily basis. The ability to measure and read the tape from either direction is invaluable to these tired old eyes. But the belt clip is a useless appendage as it is far too weak to hold the unit securely. I have a quality shop apron with a metal reinforced tape holder. No matter what I have tried the tape measure is easily knocked off of my apron to fall to the bench or floor. I have even attached it to the regular pockets, in an attempt to change the angle and avoid contact with arms, tools, benches, and anything that would knock the tape from my apron. Of course the tape may be held within the pockets - but this defeats the purpose of the belt clip.

I have lots of tape measures in my shop, but this one stays in my apron. Im a hobbyist level wood crafter, and not a pro. But, I really this tape. Io like that the blade surface is white, seems easier to read. I love that 16ths are indicated by a number, and that BOTH edges of the tape are numbered. The pencil sharpener is an added bonus. Sometimes small things, like a really good tape measure make your day.

This tape is awesome because it has fractional increments. It is much faster than having to count. It even showed the 16th of an inch indicators.

When you turn a tape measure upside down and the turn it around again to mark out your work sometimes you accidentally go backwards and loose an inch so it is best to measure twice, this tape measure kinda helps this from happening, the only thing I noticed that it would be better if the tape was yellow, white isnt as clear

I’ve been using these tapes as a general contractor for 18+years. Bought them at a trade show before Amazon , glad to see they are still around and I can resume my lazy fractional measurements at a quick glance !!!!! Lol

My favorite thing is it’s capability to hold the tape hard n fast. It’s nice and smooth, not a downward battle of thumb and bottoming the button out lol.

Ive owned and currently own several tape measures, I use this one often. I love that its detailed, has numbers in both directions so I can read it easily no matter how Im holding it, and when you set it down with the tape extended it automatically locks the tape out for you. Its very useful. My daughter wants one for Christmas because she likes it too.
