I really love these filters. I have dogs and parrots and it really does catch all of the dander. They are very well made.

I have the same reservation as other viewers. Seems like a good filter (just tried so will update after some time), BUT there is NO marking indicating the actual MPR of these filters. Also, a web search using the code on the filter reveals that it should in fact be a Ultimate Allergen filter, but unclear if its the 1500 MPR, the 1700 MPR or the 1900 MPR? Would not order again from Amazon because of this.

This is the same item I buy in the stores each year but at $2 cheaper per filter. This is a great product that works well during the winter season in keeping our home air clean and helps reduce allergy symptoms when the furnace is running. It doesnt seem to reduce furnace air flow or efficiency.

These arrived quickly and work well. I like the idea of having a few extra without running to store for another.

Works as advertised

Ive been using them for about 6 months now and theyre good. Although I dont really know if theyre any better than other ones as I just moved into a new house 6 months ago and dont really have anything to compare it to. My son who has asthma seems to be ok in the house.

Just a little to large - but can be bent enough to fit. Seems to be doing an OK job; however still see small particles of dust in the air when looking through the sun. In this big house (over 4000sf) probably have to expect a little dust.

This is one of the higher end filters that Filtrete makes. We got this specifically because we have young kids and a dog. These filters do a great job keeping the air in the house clean and fresh. we typically change out the filter every 6-8 weeks.

They work. But way too expensive. Just go to your local Walmart and pay much less for ordinary filters. Just change them more often.

This is second to the top of the line for Filtrete Filters and it performs exceptionally well. The reason I didnt go with the absolute top of the line is that mine is an old central air unit and putting much more strain on the blower motor (having to pull air through even smaller meshed filter material) was of a concern. I wouldnt prefer to have the motor fail in such an old unit by overstressing its operational requirements. I will say however, in very hot weather with A/C on a fixed temp. 24/7 you WILL need to change out the filter every 30 days. But, for the comfort and air purity youll experience - its worth it. These arent cheap. As you can buy much lower priced filters - but, as a licensed Quality Engineer I would say youd have to look very long and hard to find a better one than this for use with particularly an older HVAC unit.
