This is second to the top of the line for Filtrete Filters and it performs exceptionally well. The reason I didnt go with the absolute top of the line is that mine is an old central air unit and putting much more strain on the blower motor (having to pull air through even smaller meshed filter material) was of a concern. I wouldnt prefer to have the motor fail in such an old unit by overstressing its operational requirements. I will say however, in very hot weather with A/C on a fixed temp. 24/7 you WILL need to change out the filter every 30 days. But, for the comfort and air purity youll experience - its worth it. These arent cheap. As you can buy much lower priced filters - but, as a licensed Quality Engineer I would say youd have to look very long and hard to find a better one than this for use with particularly an older HVAC unit.

I always buy these in the 6 pack excellent filter and price. I require a 20 x 24 x 1 which is not the most common size but these are available and fit perfectly.

Unfortunately the filters were bent in two areas of the filter. I still use it but it was bent in two areas.

Filters come in a nice cardboard box easy for storing in the attic. Def cut down on dust in the home.

A box full of filters on hand for those times when you forget three months is up, Where did the time go. Love the big box full.
