Mind that the keys are smaller than a traditional keyboard, so I (and my friends who tried it) get around 1 in every 5 words wrong. The base of the key is the normal size, but it gets smaller at the end. I would return it, but my wife loved it and she asked to keep it, so this rating is out average note.

At this price, you get a LOT for your money. It comes with a full set of PBT keycaps and Zorro switches that are a decent Cherry MX clone. Not sure if they are lubed, but they feel smooth without any sandiness/graininess. Key consistency is also very acceptable. The board itself is solid - feels reasonably heavy and does not flex. The stabilizers, while maybe not on the level of custom-built, are far better than most branded gamer keyboards, such as Corsair. There is no spacebar rattle. Also, due to the uncommon keycap form factor, the sound of the keys is actually quite distinct. It sounds noticeably different from your standard Cherry MX keys. Oh, and theres even RGB, if youre into that. It does not fit at all with the theme of this keyboard, so I just leave it off. Overall I am very satisfied. I bought this to fit the theme of my most recent retro PC build, and ended up receiving a keyboard that almost gives my custom-builts a run for their money.

OMG - this keyboard is off the charts crazy! It doesnt just LOOK like a keyboard out of the 70s, but it actually types like one! I was taken all the way back to my typing class in 1979. And ... if you use this thing at work, it cant escape the notice of other people. Great conversation piece ... and full up click-clack LOUD. Its a FULL STROKE to pound these keys. I have big hands and this keyboard is huge. I really feel like my hands are getting a workout while I pound away at it. One of the best purchases Ive ever made, and you dont have to install software to change the backlighting of the keyboard - though Ive been keeping the lighting off for now, just to groove more into the 70s vibe of this thing. I dont really see this thing as a gaming keyboard. This keyboard is ideally suited to programming and general administrative tasks. The sound may annoy people nearby, which is AWESOME. Though ... no one at work has complained about it ... in fact, quite the opposite! One guy thought I got it from GOODWILL. LOL!! Too awesome, I love this thing!!

Id give this five stars if I could set it to not shed any light at all, but I cant find any setting that doesnt make some light.

I believe another reviewer wrote that he needed more beige in his life...he was absolutely right. This is my first venture into mechanical keyboard territory since a time when mechanical keyboards were the only ones you could actually buy. This thing is awesome. I love typing on it. It has tremendous heft and feels very sturdy. This thing is not going to move around on any surface as you type. The LEDs are pretty cool too and have full RGB which sort of ripple across the keys. I am sure there is a way to control them but I am just playing around with it now so I havent figured that out yet. I went with the Blue switches which provide a lot of clickiness and sound. You can read about the differences in Red, Blue, Brown and Black or look on YouTube and there are plenty of folks who have uploaded videos demonstrating the sound these switch produce--just look up Cherry MX switch sound stuff should pop up. At any rate, here is what I would say. If youre in deep enough that you care about something like a mechanically switched keyboard vs a membrane...youll probably be very happy with this brand. Like I said, this is my first time out since these things were standard and this keybaord feels exactly the way I would expect it to. I also love the retro style on this too. It is very very beige.

I cuaght the bug for retro looking peripherals and originally tried the unit Keychron is selling, but had a snafu and their customer service was rude. I ordered this one from Firstblood and I gotta tell you, it beat my expectations quite a bit. Pros: the keycaps feel like a real 90s keyboard. Theyre cupped, and they even got the raised homerow dots from that time period correct. Switches sound great, RGB is nice and bright and also easy to turn off. None of the function keys are labeled which I actually prefer for this specific unit. They got the numpad color scheme correct unlike other sellers. Cons: Instructions were a little hard to read (a table explaining the func keys would have been nice,) RGB colors are a bit limited. I may be back for a blue switch model. Edited to add: I came back for the blue switch model. Didnt disappoint.

I got it after stumble upon a review during Prime Day from a blog. Even though it was not part of the Prime day special, I went ahead with the purchase because of the reasonable price. I have a 3rd party brown switches keyboard (not Cherry MX). I thought I would try to Red switches from AJAZZ. After a week of usage I can tell you I like it a lot as an office keyboard. The keys are not as responsive as the brown keyboard due to the lack of tactile feedback, but it also generates a lot less noise. So Im pretty happy not to annoy anyone in my office with a clicky keyboard. The travel takes a little bit to get used to compare to a membrane keyboard. But once i get used to it it is a pleasure to use. The volume knob at the top right corner double as the backlight brightness control. Talking about the asthetics. I like the option of removable bezel cover (blue). In the end, I keep the light blue cover to give the light blue look. It give a very clean look on a white table surface, which is what I have at work. The overall asthetics is easy looking with the light color, while it doesnt shout out for additional attention. The plastic they use feels good to the touch as well. I wold defintely recommend this keyboard, along with other colors from the same seires, if you are looking to spend just a little bit of money to update your office without drawing too much attention.
