> 3 dayI have some favorite keyboard makers. Im not big into building from scratch so, like most consumers, am at the mercy of what manufacturers want to manufacture. My shortlist of favorite keyboards is probably familiar, Royal Kludge, Razor, and Durgod sit at the top. All popular brands. And then there is this lurker...AJAZZ. My first AJAZZ keyboard was the 82-key AJAZZ GEEK. Although I love my 60% keyboards for customization, small size, and gaming they lack the quick key access for programming and daily work. I upped my game to the GEEK with blue switches and found a sense of happiness. I would have left well enough alone if not for the 1.5u sized Right shift... Enter the AK510. I dig older computers and have always wanted to go for something with that retro feel. Not wanting to shell out $100+ for Durgods latest release and get another 60% I went for this instead. Its a grown-ups keyboard. Has all keys. Has all the lights too! You can customize this keyboard so that each and every key has its own color...and then save it! The built-in light functions are the typical ones so your favorite (breath is mine) is there. I got the browns for this one and I dont regret it. I love tactile and I love clicky, but the Browns are what I need for hours of typing and working. The feel is there to satisfy but not loud enough to annoy. Stabs are OK, have not put the miles on to really know. They are not lubbed like Durgod but not cheap feeling either. Well... thats it. Ive got a spread sheet to zoom around! YAY!

> 3 dayi work in an office environment and i’m on the computer typing away for an average of 8-9 hours a day. i specifically chose the one with BROWN SWITCHES for typing because of this reason, but MAN this keyboard has exceeded my expectations!! it has a nice weight to it, keys and overall feel of the keyboard is so sleek. i love the color it’s so beautiful! it feels REALLY nice and it has so many light modes, light speed, even brightness and it comes with the manual to be able to know what keys to press for it. the sound of typing is not loud, it sounds nice! such an amazing price for the kind of keyboard this is. i love it

> 3 dayIve really enjoyed using the AKJAZZ AK510 keyboard for the week Ive had it so far. This really does feel like an older-style keyboard in terms of the typing mechanism, and its really responsive while not being insanely loud. I chose the Brown Switches model because Ive had them on other mechanical keyboards, but these are the best Ive used yet! Definitely worth it! This review was typed on the keyboard in question, actually. Pros: - Cool RGB lighting presets and customization options - Font is crisp and legible even without backlight - Not overly noisy (good for sleeping parents) - Comes with an extra set of bright orange keycaps for certain major keys (Spacebar, ESC, etc.) that reference the Dino game from when Chrome goes offline Cons: - None yet!

24-04-2025Pros: The Cherry MX Brown imitation keys offering a great tactile response while being somewhat quiet. While theyre still noisy (and thats to be expected), theyre responsive without those loud clicks you get with MX Blue keyboards. I actually didnt know about the LEDs when I bought the keyboard. On my model they were not programmable, but you have a couple of different options to cycle through which provide decent backlighting and visual responses. The retro model looks great with the typical off-white and grey key pattern indicative of Model F/M IBM keyboards of the 70s-80s. Neutrals: So, those rounded keys: I cant say that these seemed to make a difference in my typing experience. They certainly arent bad or weird, or anything, just kind of there. Cons: No real cons. The retro-style feels like a steep jump from the all-black bargain bin looking keyboard, which given that it has no unique features or switches feels a little weird. The other thing is that you might end up struggling to find replacement keys, others have mentioned thats an issue. These rounded keys are unique to the keyboard, so keep that in mind if youre oaf that smashes keyboards or something, or if youre into custom key caps. Youre basically only going to get those caps from them. Its comfortable, relatively cheap, and the retro one looks great. Caps are probably not easily replaceable.

Greater than one weekIts just a fun keyboard to use, and the led lighting is brighter than you think its going to be. Has a real retro look and feel with buttons that have a good pushback on your fingers while youre typing (old crank alert) like they were back in my day. Trying to figure out the settings was a little tricky, and the one I received doesnt lay flat on the desk (wobbles ever so slightly). Comes with extra buttons (ESC, SPACEBAR, ENTER) shells that you can switch out for if you want a more fun more gamer look for your board.

> 3 daygot this for my kids as they wanted to replace there broken keybord with a heavy duty mech, keybord. The only complaint they have is the travel for action in games is a little far but outside of that it awesome according to therm.

> 3 dayIm in LOVE with this keyboard! This is my first time owning a mechanical keyboard and I really love the retro look. After watching a few video reviews on it, I caved and bought it. I dont regret it in the slightest. It feels great, sturdy, and actually kinda heavy. Does NOT feel like a cheap keyboard! Im not much of a PC gamer, but I gave DUSK a try with this keyboard and it works well. Though gave it a 4 star since it can be loud and annoy others, but it blue switches so what do you expect? Didnt bother me but I was also wearing headphones. I wasnt sure what switches I should get as my first mechanical keyboard. But I wanted a heavy clicky one, kinda old school. This fit the bill! Lights up nice but I highly recommend downloading the software...which weirdly doesnt come with. Though it does come with a key puller and extra keycaps which are cool but I dont care for em since I already love the look of this keyboard. The lighting is really bright but I mainly keep it off because Im not much a RGB light guy. But if you are, then youre in for a treat. Multiple ways to set up lighting with the software. Overall its a good keyboard. Does the job, just hope it doesnt annoy your loves ones like it annoys my wife haha.

> 3 dayAbsolutely worth the money I paid for it. I am a mania rhythm game player and I switched from razer greens to the black switch variant of this keyboard because I wanted to try linears and I loved the way this keyboard looks. It definitely feels very good quality and works great. Since this is my first keyboard that has fully customizable rgb effects, something I learned is that having complex rgb effect on can strongly effect input latency. It is better to remember to turn rgb effects off while gaming or at least only using something like steady or reaction. If you are unsure of the build quality and functionality of the keyboard, I can assure you it is good for this price and you wont find a better price for a keyboard with this aesthetic as far as my searching went. EDIT 5/24/21 It has been about half a year since I started using it and there are around 1.7 million presses on each of the keys I use for my rhythm game. Yesterday one of the switches broke during gameplay, which was sort of strange to me since it is far below the general amount of presses a mech switch should last. Could be a defect or something, so not really a deal breaker for me still since it has served me very well since I got it. The other keys are still doing fine and have higher key press numbers even, so it was probably some one off thing on a defective switch. To fix my problem, I simply moved my keybinds down one row so all is good! The key that broke is the semicolon, which I dont use much anyways, but I guess I was lucky it was a key I dont use much that was the defective one.

> 3 dayI love this keyboard. The keys are really nice. It reminds me a lot of the mechanical keyboard I grew up using in the 80s, but maybe even a bit nicer than that one. The only improvement would be to have a removable usb cable. But other than that, this keyboard is perfect.

> 3 dayI havent had mechanical keyboard ever and its my first one, so my review will be a bit subjective. I couldnt decide to buy or not to buy mechanical keyboard due price, sound (I supposed I am not going to like it, because I didnt know how great it sounds). But when I decided to buy it, Ive been looking for great keyboard under 100$ and this one looks like the best option, so I bought it. First of all, I very like it for retro look, its make my soul warm. Typing with this keyboard is very pleasant as well as sound. As Ive said before sound is very pleasant and I wanna say a bit more about it. It sounds likewise when ping-pong ball knocks to the ground. Someone might says it sound like typewriter, but I havent heard it ever. I very like tactile sensations while typing, because I literally feel every moment when I press the button and character appears on the screen, its very helpful if you are type very much or everyday (programmers, writters, etc), because on every press you are getting feedback. Keyboard looks durable enough and build quality as I can see is very worthy. Also theres some shortcuts for media like increase/decrease volume, mute and pause/play its very helpful. LED backlight good enough too, but I was a little disappointed because theres no control for brightness of backlight. Overall, I am very happy with keyboard, I hope it will work for years.
