> 3 dayThis is a cute and well made toy. It’s a classic. However, the string is 8” long; ridiculously short. It can’t comfortably reach the keys at the far end. What is the point in a musical toy that can’t be played? We will have to lengthen the string before gifting it. Not happy.

Greater than one weekSuper cute & fun! The only aggregation both my son I have is the string. Its attached from the xylonphone to the plastic stick. Its super short even for a toddler making it annoyingly diffilicult to play. We are constantly twisting and rearranging our hand to play with it. No the string isnt detachable unless you decide to cut it yourself- homemade style.

> 3 dayIt is exactly what its supposed to be. Baby likes it, husband likes it, its a winner. I know the string is so short for safety, but an uncoordinated baby/young toddler sometimes has an issue using the stick because of the string. I just cut it off and we deal with losing the stick sometimes. Luckily you can bang on the keys with about anything.

> 3 dayThis never changes and always gives young children hours of fun pounding on something instead of the furniture. Always a great gift.
