> 3 dayOne year old loves it. Got as BD gift. You can never go wrong with Fisher Price. Very durable, indestructible toys. Found out about Fisher Price 40 years ago when my son then 2..sat on the arm of the Fisher Price record player while it was on! Didnt even break the short concealed needle!

Greater than one weekMy daughter loves this! Only thing I would change is to make the string on it longer, other than that it’s great!

> 3 dayGreat! But the string could be a little longer. Naturally he wanted to grab the end with the bigger piece and struggled to play the notes but he eventually understood. I’d made it longer if possible so we don’t have to remove it and lose it

Greater than one weekI got this for my youngest son for Christmas. He has loved it since he opened it. Even his nearly 3 year old brother adores it. At our family Christmas party, I got to see my youngest and his cousin hovering over it, trying to play with it together. The only issue that Ive noticed is the cord for the mallet is a little too short. My kids have gotten frustrated trying to hit the end pieces, because you can really only do it from one direction. They want to have more free motion with it. The only way to give them that free range of motion is to cut the cord, but then they lose the mallet. Thats the whole point of the cord. While that has been a little frustrating for them, they still love the toy, and it gets played with quite a bit in our house.

> 3 dayThis never changes and always gives young children hours of fun pounding on something instead of the furniture. Always a great gift.

> 3 dayOverall the product is good a serves the purpose. However one small difference from the one I had growing up (other than mine was made of wood!) The one I had played sounds when pulled. This does not. Overall good sturdy product and the string is short enough to prevent your little one from choking. The short string does make it a little more difficult to use. But in today’s lawsuit happy world a necessity. The difficulty measure is the reason for 4 stars. Understandable but that’s my view.

> 3 dayThis toy is a total hit with my 13 month old daughter. Shes been obsessed with anything and everything even remotely musical since she was a wee little one (5 months). I had to show her a few times how to play it but she quickly caught on and plays with it on a daily basis now. All of the keys seem to be perfectly tuned. But honestly, even if they were not, this wouldnt be a big deal to me at such a young age. Come on. This Xylophone is very well built and has held up amazingly well to my rough daughter. She drags, drops and pounds this thing to death and it still looks and functions like brand new. When I first opened this, my daughter couldnt hit the keys because the cord was restricting her movements with the mallet. The only way she could hit the keys is if I guided the mallet for her. I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the cord. Problem solved. I dont know why people are complaining. Its a safety issue if the cord were any longer! The mallet never leaves our house, so Im not worried about it getting lost. Just cut the cord, and let that mallet loose. Overall, I highly recommend. This is a staple that every baby/toddler should have.
