The instructions were all about removing the old screen. The online info said look at youtube. Unfortunately, I didnt see how to install the new plastic frame under the digitizer in a video, but I figured it out. The product looks well made. The packaging was nice. The screen came with tape, camera mount and home button attached. It also came with a wifi cable. Everything was clean. Installed, then nothing. No response from the touch screen. Nothing. No cracks or loose connections. Just doesnt work. Returned it.

Just got this as a replacement for another touchscreen Id bought a few weeks earlier (see my feedback on the other one). This one is flawless from what I can tell, compared with the previous one from a different vendor. 1) It fits perfectly, adhesives are pretty strong. Once installed everything looks solid, there are no indications that something didnt get properly attached (gaps) - so you better get it right in the first attempt. 2) The screen is perfectly clear, there are nothing in the construct of the touchscreen matrix that interacts with the high quality retina display underneath - which was the main reason for me to search for another vendor after trying a lower quality screen. With the proper cleaning prior to assembly, once installed the picture is crystal clear, with no visible artifacts! 3) The screen material seems to be of very good quality. My only complaint is purely related to esthetics: the home button is slightly rotated (~5 degrees). I havent tried to fix it, and given how well it fits and the amount of time already put into this replacement, I think Ill just leave at it. As they say: if it aint baroque, dont fix it.

Ipad 3 screen replacement. First, let me say that this is a great produce at a good price. I was surprised at how complete the screen replacement was. But they should have included 3 more plastic picks to help with removing the screen and they should definitely produce their own youtube instruction video. I viewed several other youtube videos on screen replacement and they were a great help but one thing the videos didnt cover and the instructions in the package did is very important. Be sure and TAPE the screen before you start to remove it, because, regardless of how careful you are, the screen will shatter and small, almost microscopic glass shards will be all over the work area. Also, be sure to clean the area before you start to re-assemble the unit because you do not want to have ANY glass inside the device. I strongly suggest the you follow instructions and be very careful not to get the screen or plate dirty; use plastic gloves. ONLY PROBLEM: I did everything right and my iPad 3 worked great BUT after a week the screen became loose and started to peel away. I think this was because the rubber adhesive was aged and didnt stick well. I looked for a manufactures dated on the box but couldnt find one. I plan on contacting the company and requesting a new adhesive template. Other than the adhesive problem, the product is great. They dont tell you but the screen has very clear plastic covers on the front and back of the screen and you will need to remove the back protector before you re-assemble the unit. Some people didnt realize this and had bubbles appear in the screen later because they left the clear plastic screen protector in place. Read the instruction, review the youtube videos, make sure you have a newly manufactured package and ABOVE ALL ELSE, TAKE YOUR TIME and all should be well. screen good, home button bad. just switched with the the old home button. was frustrated since i had to reopen the screen.

The product was fine but when you go to peel the plastic cover to protect the glass all the adhesive from the plastic stays on the glass and what a nightmare to get off would not recommend not worth the trouble

I run a little repair shop. I used to buy iPad digitizers on eBay but got tired of defective products. It may be cheaper but there is a higher chance of t arriving with a defect. This comes with a bezel and wifi antenna. Fixcracked is the best Ive used so far. I bought 4 so far and they have all worked perfectly.
