> 3 dayCleaned the ipad rim. Applied new adhesive. Didnt stick at all. Ended up just using packing tape which is hidden under a otter box. Great screen but the adhesive sucked.

> 3 dayI had high hopes for this product, but once installed the screen has major dead spot issues. Cant recommend purchasing it, waste of time and money.

Greater than one weekI bought this screen replacement kit, because the Q&A said it would work for my unit, which is the iPad Gen 3, Model A1416 (see Q&A). However, what I received did not work with my unit. First off, my kit did not contain the tools. So, I had to improvise with a filed down screw driver and my own guitar picks. Once I removed the broken glass on my unit, I began to install the new one from the kit. The instructions are almost impossible to see and the accompanying pictures so small, they are useless. I had to follow a YouTube video on the glass replacement process. But once I got to the final steps, I discovered that the replacement glass from my kit included the Home Button Ribbon Cable attached. The Model A1416, doesnt have a Home Button Ribbon cable, but Id gone too far at that point to return the product. The replacement glass I received is for an iPad 4, which has the Home Button Ribbon Cable. I finished the install, without the Home Button Ribbon Cable attached, as there is no place to connect it on my unit. Then, short of gluing down the glass, which the instruction say to do, ran a test, and my unit would not power up. Now, both the kit and the iPad are in the trash and I just purchased a new iPad. I know other people have had luck with these kits, but I did not. So, beware.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect kit. It has every tool you need and the replacement screen comes with the home button and adhesive tape already installed. This kit makes it very easy!

> 3 dayThe digitizer cable was a such tight fit that it was virtually impossible to be fully inserted. Tried many times and utimately tore the cable. Additionally the instructions were so poorly written I ended up using a YouTube tutorial as a guide. Ended up odering a different screen and the digitizer cable was a perfect fit and my damaged iPad was back up and running in under 5 minutes

Greater than one weekReplaced a cracked screen on my iPad. Responsiveness is normal. Button seems a bit softer and not as hard to press.

> 3 dayThis was super easy to use. I did it in around an hour. My kids broke it 3 days later (sigh). So I will be ordering another one and Im sure it will be much quicker to do it this time since I know what Im doing. I will also be ordering a heavy duty case and a screen protector. This was a much cheaper option than the $150 all the tablet repair people wanted to charge me.
