Half the glass did not work.

Easy to do if you have the proper tools and take your time. Ensure you have a clean work area. A heat gun is a nice tool to have ---it can make removing the adhesive a less cumbersome process. Care and being diligent to what you are doing will make this a simple process. If you are not mechanically inclined, perhaps its best to pay someone but if you want to learn how to fix a piece of equipment that you have purchased, have some confidence, watch multiple how to videos on youtube ,and then you must try. Your first one may take you two hours, your second will take an hour or less. Extra care should be taken when working around the wifi antenna No issues with shipping or packaging.

The replacement screen came with everything I needed. I Will definitely buy it again.

Bought this item, but waiting for it to deliver., I found out iPad 3 is the new ipad2. Its was called the new ipad2 when it came out. I ordered the ipad2 version screen replacement to find out the digitizer wouldnt fit due to the video connector cable being too short. Went through the entire process of disassembly to find out the cable was too short. Waiting for the delivery on monday! TLDR: New iPad 2(name of ipad when it came out) is the iPad3. This is what you will need to replace the new ipad2.

The package came very fast and was packaged excellent. The tools were great except for one of the plastic prying tools which broke quick. I watched the video here - [...] to remove the broken screen and took my time. I have worked on several projects like this in the past working as a computer tech for many years, so I was sure to be very careful. I was able to get the new screen on without any issues, but unfortunately the home button wouldnt work. The home button was clicking, but wouldnt do anything. I took off the new screen with the tools provided using the guitar pick tool slowly around the edges and unfortunately part of the right side of the screen cracked. I was very careful, so Im not sure how it cracked so easily. I had to take off the home button that came with the screen and replaced it with the original from the broke screen. That fixed the problem with the home button not working, but I have a small crack on the screen. Its way better than before, but annoying that it cracked.

Total garbage screen has dead spots and is thin and frail do not think it will last long . Disappointed

I would buy this again, and again if I had to. Awesome quality, the tools were helpful, but I barely used them, I am not a novice doing this replacements. If you are...please take time to do the research on how to do it, heating gun does a great job, makes the replacement a breeze. Its the second time my son breaks the digitizer/glass, this one is by far a better quality than the ones on eBay, it was packed very well protected as described. You wont be dissapointed, ordered it Friday, got it monday. Amazon prime rules!

Outstanding. Take the time to really clean the unit of the tiny pieces of glass before putting the replacement glass in. Holding up very nicely.

Very hard to install. Can’t make it work. Some times the touch works and some times don’t. And as is adhesive is impossible to try without close. Dot waste your money
