Screen has unresponsive zones after 3 months of use.

My other replacement lasted for almost 2 years, but after the home button started to sink in I thought I would replace the screen. So I bought this one, installation was a breeze and the IPad worked awesome for 2 days. Seriously after 2 days whenever I would hit the home button it would turn on Siri instead of go back to my home screen. After doing some research the most common reason was a defective home button. To test this theory I took it apart and used the home button from my old screen and now my Ipad works fine. However, I still have the problem of the sunken in home button.

I am beyond impressed with this product. When you pair this kit with the repair tutorial on YouTube it’s amazing what a novice can accomplish. I thought my iPad was finished and wasn’t worth the money to have a professional repair it ($100-250). The steps were super easy to follow and now I have a completely functional, good as new iPad! The home button feels slightly different than before, slightly more recessed, but functions just fine. I wish I had taken the time to truly clean the surfaces with alcohol to get a perfect seal before sticking it down but only I can tell when I’m scrutinizing. I can’t recommend this product enough - truly fantastic

I purchased this because it had the home button included in the kit. I had to solely rely to on YouTube videos to figure out how to do it. The instructions included were through in some cases, but some things were very vague and the picture illustrations were impossible to see. Would be great if they could include a specific video link on a step by step walk through. Furthermore, my hold/sleep/wake up button only works for screenshots and powering down the device. Im reading more that there is a issue with the digitizer or flex cable from after market products. I might have

Repairing a cracked iPad screen is not the easiest thing to do. However, with the included instructions and online videos it isn’t so bad. If you are having any trouble removing the old glass use more heat to loosen the adhesive. The touch screen itself looks good and responds very nicely to touch. However, it is slightly undersized leaving a noticeable gap on one side of the iPad after repair. The adhesive that came with this screen is not very high quality at all and I fear I may need to remove it to add in a higher quality solution. I have two sections that are not sticking very well. This is the reason I am only giving this screen 3 stars. Hopefully a good quality case that traps the iPad front and back will keep it functional for some time.

Have gotten 2 of these screens. Neither ne stuck to the iPad well and the home button is horrible. The home button broke on the 1st one in 2 days. Got a replacement for the 1st one and will be returning for a refund the 2nd.

This touch screen is glass. The original screen I was replacing on my iPad was plastic? While replacing the battery, I accidentally damaged the cable to the touch screen and needed a replacement. The screen and iPad are now better than new.

I stopped working correctly after 1 week. It will activate randomly.
