> 3 dayThis touch screen is glass. The original screen I was replacing on my iPad was plastic? While replacing the battery, I accidentally damaged the cable to the touch screen and needed a replacement. The screen and iPad are now better than new.

> 3 dayI would watch a few YouTube videos before changing out the glass on your iPad. The instructions that came with this product was horribly written. Also was missing a few tools to help with removing the old glass. It took about a hour with two people for us from start to finish with some hiccups because of the missing tools and the instructions. My advice is to just throw away the instructions watch Youtube and you will be just fine. Replacement parts works great and our Ipad is like brand new again.

> 3 dayThe difficulty of this task cannot be overstated. The tools provided could not be of cheaper construction and the directions could not be less clear. Breaking this screen over my knee after the utter failure of fixing my iPad was satisfying enough to earn one star.

18-11-2024It was not fast but doable!!! My 9 and 12 year old assisted. It had wiring in case you damage old ones, which most likely will happen when removing cracked screen!!!

> 3 daySeems to work fine. First time doing this. Make sure you test it out before adhering it. The home button didn’t work. Save your old home button and ribbon.

> 3 dayHome button is becoming less responsive only after 2 months and sometimes I have to press it harder. The included instructions are not even for an ipad so they are useless. Check Youtube instead. The flex cable is different from the OEM cable as it has an extra section that you need to adhere to the screen forming a loop. See picture that I found on Youtube. If you dont do that, you risk damaging the flexible cable and result in ghost touches and dead areas.

> 3 dayI like that the home button was already together no need to take old one and transfer also it was very well packed and protected

> 3 dayI installed it on my friends iPad air and it worked for about a week then it started becoming unresponsive and sometimes the touch would do what ever it wanted, they would try to open an app it would open a different app try to close and it would minimize all apps. the swipe would not work. it seemed ok it just was not a quality product. it took a few weeks for my friend to get me the iPad so it is probably out of warranty and taking it apart would do more harm then good.
