> 24 hourBuy off brand. I read reviews for others saying they were a tight fit and smaller holes. I bought these and they fit tight in FX4. They will do fine since they are made for the Fluval but next purchase will be another brand so I can save money.

> 24 hourTheyre ok, I guess. I noticed a SLIGHT improvement in my water clarity. I have 4 fancy goldfish in a 110 gallon and I feed Repashy Super Gold, so my tank is pretty messy. Im running an FX4 was unhappy with the clarity of my water. I put a fresh water polishing pad in the filter weekly and rinse out the old one to re-use. The pads are not very durable and Ill probably only get 2 uses out of them before they disintegrate. They are fairly inexpensive though, so I MIGHT buy them again...I dont know. I ended up adding a separate water polishing filter and some Purigen and my water is finally clear enough to satisfy me.
