> 3 dayIf you have a FLUVAL FX5 then you are familiar with this stock part. If you are buying an FX5 for the first time, or have recently purchased one; use this stock replacement foam for at least the 1st six months. There are great mods for the FX5- but get a feel for the quirks of the filter before tinkering :-)

> 3 dayThe great Fluval quality you have come to expect. Much cheaper than the big pet stores.

Greater than one weekIve used this pad in the top tray of my FX6 for awhile now with great results. It helps filter fine particles out of the water that may have otherwise been missed by other media.

> 3 dayI only used one of these from the box per FX5 filter and they do a great job of filtering out even the smallest of snails from getting into the impeller compartment. But overall they work well and seem to have a lot of Bio-Surface. Definitely a must have for any FX5/6 owner.

> 3 dayI was unaware of polishing water until I got my Fuval 206 canister filter. This is way too big for my canister (my bad) but I took scissors to it to make it fit. Water is very clear. The polisher does get mushy after a few months but no big deal to swap it out for a new one. Once this supply runs out I will look for the polisher specific to my Fuval 206! If none, it is no big deal to cut to shape.

> 3 dayIt works great. I was able to change out my old one with this one and no problems at all. It seems to be exactly like the original so I would say it is great. I have purchased some in the past and quality was not as great but this one is perfect.

> 3 daycatches a lot of fine particles/bits, works well in conjunction with a FX5 canister & other Fluval media. Keeps my 120g w/ large (12+) mixed cichlid stock crystal clear. I have several that i rotate out, rinse and reuse, fairly sturdy filter pad.

> 3 dayWell if you have seen any of my reviews about Fluval or Seachem products, you undoubtedly will come to a conclusion that I only use these 2 products & I buy in bulk for the best price. Why? Because they work plane and simple, I have seen the off brands at great prices and even gave them a shot, while the off brand does a good job, I found that at least in my setups (multiple very large tanks and heavenly stocked Cichlids African and SA/CAs which are very very large and messy fish) the off brands clogged up a bit faster. I am a fantic when it comes to maintaining my tanks. I run a total of 5 Fluval FX6 filters (2 in my African 135 and 3 in my 220 CA/SA along with 3 Fluval FX4 in my other 3 tanks from 30 to 90 gallon) These polishing pads really trap and polish the water combined with The Blue Fluval pads and water is crystal clear giving the illusion my fish are floating on mid air. These filter pads work in many other canister filters as well with very little effort. Bottom line if you run any of the Fluval FX series these pads are a must and ate worth every penny!
