> 3 dayI recently converted my carpeted stairway into Red oak hardwood. I had to round over three edges on 6 stair treads size 48x11.5, two edges on the other 5 stair treads same size. and about 50+ foot of landing nose edge. They are all 3/4 thick. So I had to go through my router twice to make a good round top to bottom. This router bit has served me well. At the end of the job. This tool still cuts like new. My thought is to spend the money right and get the best tool.

> 3 dayJust like all Freud router bits that I have purchased, excellent quality. Thats why I buy only Freud, Whiteside, and sometimes Amana.

> 3 dayQuadra cut configuration makes this a really smooth cutting bit. A lot of metal in the body of the cutter compared to some 9of the others available.

Greater than one weekI really prefer the smaller radius cut provided by this bit compared to a 1/8 in roundover. Keeps a thicker, more squared off profile while still breaking the edges which is perfect for my project style. Sure you could do the same thing with sandpaper, but it wouldnt be nearly as consistent especially if you are a new-ish wood worker like me.
