> 3 dayIt appeared sharp and ready to go, my mistake was not going over it with the diamond first and tore the crap out of the edges on a custom item I was making. $$$ loss, my bad for not sharpening it myself. Watch em!

> 3 dayThis router bit is the ticket. It does not burn the wood and last a long time.

Greater than one weekThese Freud bit are excellent but very expensive. The give a very smooth cut with little if any additional sanding required. I took square pieces of oak and rounded over one side to make a half circle radius. The two routed seams blended perfectly. I do wish the were cheaper.

> 3 dayFirst of all, I am very happy with the nice clean cut I get with rounding operations using this bit. Ive used it on elm end grain with no problems. Heres what ticks me off: 1. The additional cutting bits that make this a quadra are partial length and (as far as I can see) dont come into play with a simple rounding over operation. They come into play only when you do beading, which you cant do with this bit as it is. I would have bought the standard bit if I had known that. 2. In order to do beading you have to purchase ANOTHER bearing and washer to the tune of about $26. 3. If you decide its worth it to part with the $26, youll find that the bearing recommended for this bit has an ID of 3/16 The shank on the end of the bit is 1/4. Both amazon and the Freud website have the same conflicting information. Several other reviewers have had similar complaints. I would be glad to make this review more positive if Freud would provide some answers. So Freud, this is one of your customers with a problem. Your comments are welcome. Lets see if you care enough to respond.

> 3 dayThis bit works OK bu ti could be improved if it had wider wings to give more of a sweep to the round-over. Im using it in a router table and cant seem to get it to cut a full round-over. I either get a partial or get a ridge.
