Freud 40-114: 1-5/8 (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

This bit did an outstanding job with hardwoods. (Hard Maple, Black Walnut)

Super sharp, cuts a 45 degree chamfer. Couldn’t ask for more.

I purchased this bit to bevel the edge of a hardwood table top I was making. It cut the walnut easily and left a smooth finish. I have several Freud bits, they never let me down

use this to make octagonal shapes

Arrived on time. Router bit works great. I am sold on Freud tools for my shop.

Worked very well with a clean smooth face on the cut.

Like all other Freud router bits I have purchased it sharp and stays sharp. I would but again.

Its what I needed.

Performed as expected; due to its size, it has a lot of in-between potential for different applications and different sizes of woods.
