> 3 daySome of the paint on this bit was slightly uneven. There is a noticeable gloopy raised part on one side. This not a good sign generally, And if it werent a Freud bit I would be worried. However it seemed to cut just fine.

09-04-2025This bit works pretty well, as long as you slowly work your way down to the desired cut depth.

07-04-2025Pros: The bit is well made and cuts well. Cons: The guide bearing is very thin and when you put pressure on it while cutting you can leave a mark on soft woods like pine. I solved the con issue by making the chamber in two cuts and not putting a lot of pushing the router against the work piece.

Greater than one weekI bought this bit specifically for one table top, 23 X 50. I wanted to put a 1/4 chamfer around the edge. This bit burned up and started leaving streaks in the maple before I could finish. It took a lot of hand sanding to remove the burn marks. This is so unusual for Freud. I wish I could return it.

Greater than one weekWhen used properly at the correct speed and depth of cut it created a butter smooth edge on my Padauk desk top with no burning, chatter, or chipping.

> 3 dayExactly what I needed to cut 45 degree bearing edges for drum shells. Very good product. The bit came in an over sized clear plastic storage box to protect it from damage while stored. Excellent quality.
