Freud 40-114: 1-5/8 (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

> 3 dayPros: The bit is well made and cuts well. Cons: The guide bearing is very thin and when you put pressure on it while cutting you can leave a mark on soft woods like pine. I solved the con issue by making the chamber in two cuts and not putting a lot of pushing the router against the work piece.

Greater than one weekThe bit is not large enough to chamfer a 3/4 thick board. It leaves a flat ridge at the bottom of the board. Other reviews said it was so Im disappointed that I wasted my money.

> 3 dayIt is nice when good tools are available and never need return. I purchased it for a specific project and the bit cut a very smooth bevel.

> 3 dayThis was the perfect tool for my project. It was very helpful to have the cutting diagram with the cutting angle shown. It cut fast and accurate. The cut was what I needed for my kitchen cabinet repair. After completeing my project with this bit it is as sharp as when I opened the package.
