Freud 40-114: 1-5/8 (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

The bit is excellent quality as are all Freud router bits (and blades). The problem (for me) is that I needed a bit that would cut 3/4 stock. This bit will not do that. It cuts 5/8 or maybe 11/16, but not 3/4 and certainly not 1 stock. caveat emptor.

As of 8/12/22, Amazon listing indicates bit is made in China. Bit I received today is marked as made in Italy.

Husband loves this. Great value great product worth every penny

Heavy duty tool eliminates chatter. Just slow it down to accommodate it’s size.

I mostly use Freud in my wood shop and they’re excellent project after project!
