Greater than one weekI love the wide base which eliminates tipping. Also the grooves on the bottom and sides of the cup are great for ridding brushes of paint and reshaping them to a fine point. Also, it looks cool.

> 3 dayIf you have good brushes you care about, buy this water pot. It has ridges and fins inside the pot to help clean brushes. Ive seen a vast improvement in the longevity of my brushes just in changing to these Citadel Water Pots.

> 3 dayAre there cheaper just as effective options out there? Ya. But this is perfectly fine for the 15 bucks it cost me. Has nice channel in the sides for brush shaping too. Wont change your life but its worth the purchase imo

18-04-2025Its a cup with different types of ridges inside to help you prep your brushes. If youre trying to figure out if you should buy it, ask yourself this: 1) Do you need something to help you get the paint off quicker for when youre trying to switch colors/clean up quickly? 2) Do you like to do a lot of fine brushwork and need the tips perfectly smoothed and pointy? If the answer to either of those is yes, then get this. The first is helped by grooves on the side and bottom, the second is helped by little channels to drag the smaller brushes through on the back. Otherwise, just get yourself a cheap mug or glue some coins to the bottom of a styrofoam cup to weight it down and use that. For the record, I answer yes to #2 and find this helps a fair amount.

> 3 dayFINALLY! Something to keep my water in. I have a stand for my brushes, cases for my minis, but until today Ive had to laze on the mossy shore of a babbling brook to wash my brushes. A cup to hold liquid . . . I dont know why something like this wasnt invented sooner. Best of all, it says Citadel on it, so you know that youve overpaid. I cant wait to show this to the cavorting nereid who kept me company all those years on the shore of the brook. Im gonna be like, Sorry, Destiny, Ive got a cup now. I can go paint inside and watch television, and shell be all like, Thats fine. Nobody wants you at the strip club anyway, sitting next to the leaky pipe and painting your weird toys. Shes crazy!
