Games Workshop Citadel - Pot à Eau

I bought this as an alternative to the Mason jar I always kept on my desk when painting. Pros: The inside of the cup has ridges and textures to help clean my brushes without causing damage. Convenient brush holder built into the lip of the cup. Small enough to fit onto pretty much any workstation. Wider base helps to ensure it wont get accidently bumped and spilled too easily. Cons: Its made by Citadel so its pricey. Much smaller than I expected. I find I have to empty and refill it more often than my old Mason jar. Material is a pretty light weight plastic. I really thought it would be a bit more robust than it is. Overall, if this was a gift, I would love it. Since I paid for it myself, not as hyped. It is a good product which has a few perks but overall just a bit to expensive for what you actually get. Stick to a large bowl/Mason jar, etc.

My title of my review says it all, truly the best cup for painting you can get. Its expensive for what it is, but it does have grooves and stuff inside for your brush that you wouldnt get in a standard cup or mug. This is defiantly worth the buy, its a lot for what it is, but its only 10$.

Hello and welcome to my review! First i want to tell you, i love this product! Reasons why?! Size - oversized coffie mug.! Has brush drying slits on the one side and brush rest on the other side. Its hard plastic so it wont be broken easy Your not going to be disappointed with this if you’re looking for a good cup for this actual purpose. Ask yourself an honest question. Am I clumsy? I am a walking natural disaster. The flared bases of the cups keep my brush water nice and safe no matter how much I flail around.

... but it works well, and I’m a citadel fanboy with money to burn on gimmicky name-branded products.

Works as intended. Other things would work as well or maybe better. I like the look of this container. The grooves on the sides and bottom also help a bit. I havent had it long enough to know how durable it is.

Works as intended. maybe a little overprice for a mug. But if you just want to use something other than a coffee mug, this is perfect. Has ripples and groves to help clean the brushes. Easy to clean and fits nicely on my work desk.
