While the watch itself has many good aspects to it, the application Garmin Connect has a host of issues that youll be fighting daily. First off - want to know the temperature outside? Instead of just looking at your watch, you have to open the app on your phone, sync the watch, and then you have current weather conditions. Want to see the temperature later on in the day? Open the app and manually sync the watch again. At this point, you may as well just look at the weather on your phone.

This watch was perfect for exactly 18 months and then died. I used it every day and for fitness activities, it did everything I needed it to and more. Unfortunately won’t be buying again as for the price I wouldn’t expect this to happen.

I bought this for my husband who is an outdoorsman. Just over a month after he started wearing when he was working outdoors a stick hit the face and cracked it obstructing part of the face. Hindsight being what it is I should have gotten a screen protector. It face sits down so far I thought it would be safer.

Ive always wanted a garmin watch, but never had the chance or the dude to get one, because they cost so damn much! And I wasnt sure which one to actually get for what I wanted it for. Finally decided on the instinct, and I can say it was a good choice. The battery lasts for a ridiculously long time without having to recharge, and it seems bet sturdy for day to day military use.

In addition he says it’s the most comfortable and lightweight he’s ever had. He loves that it tracks his heart. The feature of tracking and retracing where you are is perfect while he’s hiking in areas he’s unfamiliar with. Perfect gift
