Love this everyday watch! All the features especially GPS make it so worth it!

I bought this for my husband who is an outdoorsman. Just over a month after he started wearing when he was working outdoors a stick hit the face and cracked it obstructing part of the face. Hindsight being what it is I should have gotten a screen protector. It face sits down so far I thought it would be safer.

Ive had the Garmin Instinct GPS watch for a few months now and have been impressed with it. It is a very rugged smart watch that can withstand knocks and bumps no problems. More importantly, it provides all the useful information required for keeping track of your sports performance e.g. pace, distance, average speed, elevation, etc. The battery life on this watch is also very impressive, depending on your usage of watch. If it is used as a standard watch the battery can easily last over a week on a full charge. Compared to other GPS watches the battery also lasts a very long time with the GPS functioning. I used the GPS to track my cross-country skiing performance for 12hrs in -5c temperatures and it still had battery remaining at the end. Having physical buttons to press is also more practical when wearing gloves than a touch screen, although I did find that the buttons were pressed once or twice by movement of my gloves during skiing; which was a little annoying. However, on the whole I have been very happy with this watch and would recommend this watch for anyone looking for a solid GPS watch with good measurements.

They should at least made it comparable with a type C cable if you misplace the original cable like I did and you cant find it you have to buy another one the type C cables at least you can get at any convenient store I found it however most people have so many black cables laying around it makes it hard to find maybe thats what they want so you spend more money love the watch best one Ive ever had

Ive owned several different Garmin brand products over the years and in general, I like them all but they share a common problem. For a company with such great products, Garmin has pretty horrible documentation on how to use them. The Instinct watch is no exception. The excellent news is that Garmin Support is very good and there are YouTube videos to describe how to do anything imaginable.

It a very good watch. Love it

The watch is amazing. The sports tracking is nice and the customizable widgets are great.
