Having just finished a weekend of riding with my bicycle radar, i radar to be way more useful on a bicycle than on an airplane! This things detects cars i cant see in my review mirror. By the time i can see the car in my mirror, its already halfway up on the display. Its a game changer for sure. This product has spent plenty of time in the R&D oven. Unlike most other bicycle tech, the Garmin Varia RVR315 worked beautifully and dependably, and it quickly paired to my 4 year old Wahoo Elemnt bike computer with no BS tech hemorrhaging; no software updates, no configuration logins, no required registration, no rebooting or pairing BS, it just worked like tech should.

This does exactly what it says it does, its excellent, let you know when a car is approaching, tells if its going fast, tells you if it turn off or when it passed you and if more cars are coming. It great!

Despite cycling in the city, the RVR315 does a good job to let me know how many vehicles are behind me. Good to have its assistance to complement the side mirrors.

Literally the best thing ever to purchase if you want to start getting into cycling! Works well with my wahoo and haven’t had any issues with it! Can’t go without it!

I love this thing. It sees cars a couple blocks back and puts a dot on the side of the Garmin computer display that shows you how far away the car is. I augment it with a mirror, but now I never have to look in the mirror unless theres an approaching car, so rides are much more relaxing. Of course, in town, youll get nothing but a steady stream of warnings, but I ride in the local park where cars arent so densely packed, and its great. As an added plus, the tail light is not just an afterthought. Its very bright.

Battery has good life and radar works very well.
