> 3 dayThis connected to my Wahoo Element with no issues. Great to know when there is traffic behind you and when it is clear.

> 3 dayI will NEVER give a high rating if the product does not have written instructions. Please read further for the actual product review. It was paired to a Garmin 935 Forerunner. Because there were no written instructions I was left to search the internet a process that took at least 5 hours. Once on my bike the unit did not function or functioned intermittently for over 20 miles. The problem as I worked through it the next day was multi faceted. I have a small metal carrier rack over my rear wheel and I had turned the unit on indoors which created an oversaturation of the unit. ALL OF THIS TIME AND EFFORT COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED IF WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS HAD BEEN PROVIDED! After several hours of searching for a better mount that would be clear of the units radar I then simply pivoted the unit 180 degrees (light now is in the UP position) and the unit started working. THANKS GARMIN FOR ALL THE INFO I DID NOT GET IN THE BOX WITH THE UNIT! The 935 watch face is adequate for alerts of oncoming cars and the unit DOES not alert 153 yards out like it FALSLEY advertises, its more like 40 to fifty yards. If you use the rubber rings to hold the unit on I strongly recommend you then secure further with nylon straps or a piece of light wire like I did, it will save your device from falling off (which it will when the rubber rings break).

> 3 dayI bought the Varia RTL515 last week. The radar and light worked perfectly, and was easy to set up on my Hammerhead Karoo 2 bike computer via the ANT protocol. Like many reviewers I was immediately smitten after one use (40 mile ride).

> 3 dayIf you ride a bike on the road this is a must. Used for the first time today synced to my Wahoo Roam on a 35 mile ride. Always warned me of cars behind me well before I could hear them. Dont know why I waited so long to purchase

> 3 dayThis is the best thing you can buy for your bike. Specially is you ride out on single lane roads it will tel when there 1, 2 or 3 cars behind you. I love this thing

Greater than one weekThe Varia light is pretty well know in cycling circles. It is a radar unit combined with a light that will pair with your bike computer (including Wahoo on units made after August 2018) smart phone or watch. It is very accurate and can identify and alert the rider to objects closing ground behind you from up to 150 yards. This could be a car (up to 8) motorcycle or even another cyclist. Battery life is roughly 6 hours depending on the flash mode that you use and this light is really bright. I love mine so the only negative comes down to price. For the mostly rural roads I ride on, I have to say yes. Riding in high traffic areas might be more of a distraction than an aid, but the price is small to avoid a collision if you can spring it.

> 3 dayIt has a great battery life. you have to be careful with cars sitting behind you because they will disappear from your radar and in loud environments or ambient noise you could miss the sound signal even if its on max volume. You should never 100% rely on it but overall it gets 5 stars because its a really nice safety feature to have.

Greater than one weekI love this radar. It picks up movement pretty far off and gives u plenty of time to watch and react if u need to.
