Garmin 010-02562-00 Forerunner 55, GPS Running Watch with Daily Suggested Workouts, Up to 2 weeks of Battery Life, Black

After several tries, Garrnin Connect is unable to find the watch to connect to it, even though are just inches apart. Ive re-installed Garmin Connect many times, to no avail. Garmin Connect tells me : make sure that Bluetooth Connect is active on your device.... How the heck am I supposed to check that on the watch? All the watch displays is .. phone not connected .

Had a Forerunner 35 for 7ish yrs. Very happy, but it started having issues so I needed a new watch. Forerunner 45 and 55 were the same cost, so I got the Forerunner 55. I love how light and comfortable it is. I love the extra exercises that where added. I love everything about it accept, the small compact screen to view information. When that screen is showing, you scroll down to get your information....if you can see it. If you have good eye sight, that would be a non issue. But if you need reading glasses it is. Sure there is another button to make each screen bigger, but you have to scroll through them to find what youre looking for, which I cant see without my glasses. It is on your phone though, and the while you exercise/run, the screen tracker is normal size. Ive only had it for 2 wks. I will get used to this. I do love it, but really wish the screen print could be larger.

As expected from the Garmin, pretty good especially the battery backup, i havent charged yet, it came out of the box with 90%, i have been walking and running and other activities like breath, HIIT(high-intensity interval training), past 4 days i have not take it off this watch from my wrist, still battery 49%. i do own apple watch series 6 Nike Edition but need to charge every day for sure and if i ran more than 6K or 7K in day, it will drain pretty soon, thats why i took this and heart rate also very good, which similar to polar heart strap. finally its a Sport watch not completely smart watch but it has some of the smart watch features, like getting notifications but in one way you cant give reply from the watch, just you can see.

En general la construcción y funcionalidades me parecen muy buenas, la duración de la batería es increíble, a veces se me olvida que tengo que cargarlo, la precisión del GPS también es muy buena.

O acabamento do relógio é um pouco simples, a maior parte é plástico. A tira é de silicone, muito confortável e bem ajustável ao pulso.

The Frontrunner 55 is an awesome device. The battery life is incredible and the insights are rich and detailed. I typically use it for measuring runs, or at least thats why i initially bought it (i use it for so much more now). The run measurement is great. The GPS typically locks on very quickly and remains very accurate in my area. Its easy to flip through the different run metrics while running too. Theres only three sets of numbers on the main running screen but I was pleased to find how much additional data Is also available during the run by hitting up/down buttons. The app is also really incredible and i hadnt thought much about it before getting my Frontrunner. Ive really enjoyed the daily tracking and the running coach/training options are really helpful and interesting to follow along.

So far I’m in love with Garmin 55. Battery life is great lasts 2 weeks. This is while using the watch, I turn it off when not using. Love the features.

Watch was as described. Love the extra long battery life.

Relógio muito bom, atendeu as minhas expectativas. Achei ele mais preciso do que um modelo mais antigo que eu tenho. Só achei que a bateria dura menos do que esperava.

Takes a little bit to figure out how all the functions work - (Refer to Youtube for a tutorial - it helps), but overall a pretty good product. Gives useful information that may seem unimportant at the time but 12- 18 hours the information becomes actually quite useful. If you are looking for simple and consistent - this is it.
