Out of the box, only got about 6 days of battery life compared to the advertised 2 weeks, even though Im a light user.

I bought my wife this 55 watch, she loves it. I have the 945 and I love that one too, but her watch battery lasts a LOT longer than mine.

The only downside is that it doesnt have a touch screen

I had the 4s and wanted the smaller watch but the band broke and cant be replaced. This one can so I ordered. Not that big on my small wrist and battery life so much better. Can go over a week without charging. Also the gps connects much quicker than 4s. Good buy for me.

I went for a run and tried to use the watch as my reference point. To my surprise, it was completely off on the distance I had gone, and had my pace at 6 minute miles. That was definitely not true. This problem persisted, and I confirmed it by comparing the data with the recording on Strava. The run pace and distance is shown accurately on the Connect app after the fact, but I can do that with a free app. For a running watch, this terrible issue makes it useless to me.

I am able to track my activities well with this watch, learning a new feature every day, battery life is good.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a garmin, but the quality of the running function is excellent. There was an issue where I couldn’t customize the watch face without the battery draining quickly. Wish that could be fixed.
