> 3 dayAs expected from the Garmin, pretty good especially the battery backup, i havent charged yet, it came out of the box with 90%, i have been walking and running and other activities like breath, HIIT(high-intensity interval training), past 4 days i have not take it off this watch from my wrist, still battery 49%. i do own apple watch series 6 Nike Edition but need to charge every day for sure and if i ran more than 6K or 7K in day, it will drain pretty soon, thats why i took this and heart rate also very good, which similar to polar heart strap. finally its a Sport watch not completely smart watch but it has some of the smart watch features, like getting notifications but in one way you cant give reply from the watch, just you can see.

> 3 dayAfter reading reviews on the Forerunner 55, I decided to purchase this watch. Im a smaller petite 5ft 4in and most watches are big and bulky and just look ridiculous on my wrist...so I wasnt sure on this one. I was surprised when it arrived as it is not big and bulky like my hubbys Garmin Instinct. It has a nice flat face with text large enough to read even at a glance while on a run. The buttons are easy to use and figure out and once you spend some time doing the initial set up and customize it to your preferences, its a great watch! GSP is great, battery life is awesome! It came charged and even with all my fooling around with the settings and discovering how all the selections work, my battery is still at 60% after 4 days. I turned down the brightness and turned off the function that keeps the backlight on during a workout/run and Im expecting to not charge it for another week and half or so. GPS will use more battery but by far, the best battery life compared to other fitness trackers Ive had.

> 3 dayDisappointing that I paid for a new product and what arrived had obviously been used. Had a custom watch face already set and activity history and user settings already customized for someone else. Also, I’m not sure if there’s a protective cover for the charging contacts that should have been included, but there was not one in the box. Docking stars for what should have been a 5 star purchase because I got someone’s returned device.

> 3 dayI have owned the watch now for approximately 2 weeks and have had a great experience so far. The data screens for activities have great info and switching between screens is super easy. The watch is not touchscreen and you navigate the screeens via the buttons on the side of the watch.

> 3 dayI think the Fitbit has a far better app and is better when you are doing varied cardio sessions (my focus in the past few years was weight loss) but if you are a runner, then Garmin does the metrics better. They have a fantastic community that is based on invites so no creepy guys treating it like a dating site. This watch is more entry level for running but you can upgrade if you end up needing more capabilities. I like it because even though I use the GPS on all my trail runs and rides, I only have to charge it once a week (vs daily for FB). But if I do strength training, I have to track it as other as that is not a preloaded option for some silly reason.
