Easy to set up. Great for every day use. The data is easy to read. Also the band is great.

Love the battery, way better then fitbit ( after 1.5 battery died) its rugged and its get for gps tracking events. Learning function is a bit tricky but tutorials online are great. maynot look as stylish as fitbit but way better bangfor your buck. Had an old garmin, when fitbit, back to garmin and now will not go back

Best purchase ever

The only watch like this Ive ever owned was a Fitbit Ionic. Well that died on me for no apparent reason a couple weeks ago, so I had been looking for a replacement. I didnt want to go with a Fitbit again and figured Garmin was the next best option. After looking at several models, I settled on the Forerunner 55. Feature-wise, it had everything I could have wanted. A quality brand with HR, sleep tracking, notifications and - like most Garmin products - has a good reputation of being a great fitness tracker among other things.

Ordered the first one and it would not work or hold a charge for longer than a day. Received the replacement and it was exactly the same. charge lasts about 24 hours and the watch failed to synch to bluetooth. I have had other Garmins and never had anything short of a great experience. this may just be a bad model or inferior products.

Moved from Garmin Vivosport to Garmin Forerunner 55. Found the design very attractive, gives a smartwatch look. Built is excellent. Tracking is awesome as is expected from the Garmin house. GPS also connects very quickly. Good price range in case confused between Forerunner 45 vs Forerunner 245 starting range. Not used the training suggestions yet

Charging cable does not stay , keeps popping out . Tried cleaning device and cable both. Should have got a apple watch . I am stuck with this . I will try to get a refund.
