Garmin Edge 830, Performance GPS Cycling/Bike Computer with Mapping, Dynamic Performance Monitoring and Popularity Routing

I moved to this as soon as it was released since I was growing weary of the touchscreen and speed of the 820. It is a big step up and the slight size increase is welcome. I also like the more positive opening/closing of the USB door for charging.

Excelente produto, segue o esperado da marca. Alguma dificuldade no início até entender algumas funções, porque não é intuitivo o esquema de menu. Bom desempenho quando andando e o bundle para MTB é ótima opção. Com os mapas adequados leva você a lugares inéditos com segurança.

Wanted to replace my Edge 1000 but didnt like the new Edge 1030 that has replaced it. Went with the Edge 830 and have been really pleased with it.

Had the unit for about 1 month now. So far, everything is great. Battery life, accuracy, customizing screens, tracking distance, calories, max, avg speeds. Comes with multiple ways to mount on bike. Put the mounting bracket on both bikes so easy to move from one to another.

I purchased the Garmin MTB package. The package was missing the speed sensor.

I was a little apprehensive about getting the 830 especially after having been through some reviews which raised issues about the set-up process and Garmin software being clunky - saw none of that. I have no regrets about getting the device. Works flawlessly, connects to the HR Monitor and the other sensors beautifully and even has options for connecting to bikes with electronic shifters like eTap and Di2 so looking forward to using it to the max!

Completo, fácil de usar. Gostei demais.

The biggest issue for this particular one, it was for my husband for mountain biking. That requires lots of climbing and this doesn’t register anything until you are going 10 miles per hour, which isn’t going to happen going uphill. It can’t be set to anything else. Serious flaw for biking computers.
