Best scissors ever. I am a Gingher Fan anyways and these are all that I buy.

these scissors are fabulous on trimming appliques while sewing. they trim close and even so putting the finishing touches to appliques are made easier. The one and only drawback to them is the handles. As with most of Gingher scissors the handle doesnt have any type of comfort grip or padding. This can make it uncomfortable to use for an extended period so I have to take breaks while using them due to arthritis. There is no question that these scissors are the best Ive seen for applique.

I bought these to cut pile on my wool tapestry weaving and they work perfectly. My mechanically-minded husband was admiring their quality when I opened the package and had to further inspect them before letting me take them to the studio. He said they looked perfectly manufactured.

I saw these duckbill shears being used on a video project and thought they would be useful in sewing with foam or a thicker interfacing. Very happy that I ordered them. They are easy to use and most helpful cutting close to stitching.
