These are perfect for appliqué work, and anything you need to get close to cut. I bought them for my machine appliqué and find myself reaching for them for many other types of trimming in sewing. They fit my hand, they get in there with the bend, and the curve neatly lifts up the fabric below, helping to keep from snipping the main fabric by mistake.

Like all gingher products highest quality. Even paying high price it’s worth it.

i like these and they cut well...i am also new to applique and embroidery. But i get as close as i can even with these and i still have some edges left showing on designs sometimes....so i went even closer and the shield does not always protect i cut the shirt ): they work but i wished they were smaller to maneuver better

Very nice pair of appliqué scissors.

I saw someone use these on a video and thought, what a wonderful tool for my sewing room. I received them for Christmas and love them! So handy to trim up seams or applicaes nicely. without risking accidentally cutting into your fabric. They are nice and sharp, fit my hand well too.

Beautiful cut and smooth to use. Definitely worth the money. I didnt realize how easy trimming edges would be until I used these scissors. I highly recommend.
