Retayne Color Fixative Solution - This product is one of the few that fixes color in fabric prior to it being used in quilts / textile projects. The item arrived promptly and extremely well packaged. I already knew that this was the product I needed and it is hard to find it in the shops without driving miles and miles. I had already researched what it did and how to use it. This was just as well as it did not come with any instructions for use. I have already used it to prepare a lot of fabric with unstable color and would definitely recommend this item and seller.

Have used this product for years to set the color in cotton fabrics that will be used in quilting. Satisfied with delivery, product and price.

This did the trick on my Batics. Had a large number of bright colors and soft yellow and greens. Nothing was ruined when using this. Best solution to wash after assembling a quilt.

We were using color catcher sheets and having to wash dark purple fabrics multiple times and still color catchers were coming out colored. One wash with Retayne and the color catcher was still bright white. I use it all the time for prewashing quilting fabrics now.

It only takes a small amount to keep the color in your fabric from fading and bleeding.

As a quilter, I struggled to find something that would keep my fabrics from bleeding. Then I heard about Retayne. It really works! Use 1 teaspoon per 1 yard of fabric. I have been using this for about 5 years.

I have not seen any bleeding since using Retayne. It works like it is supposed to. Great for prewashing prior to cutting fabric.
