> 3 dayI pretty much wont wear any of my Holy Clothing dresses (and I wear them a lot) without washing them first in Retayne - it really does the job.

> 3 dayWifey has been using this product for years and swears by it. She uses it to stabilize wild dyes that might bleed, but also to lock in the color on her ink jet printed labels that go on every quilt she makes. Quilters of the world unite. ;-)

> 3 dayBought this for the wife, dont know what it does other than she uses it in her fabric staining and coloring process. She tells me it is the best for the price and obviously worked for her.

> 3 dayThis is a must-have for me when washing batik fabric for the first time. I always test for color stability by rinsing with hot water, as Ive found that batiks often bleed. The most likely to bleed are reds/pinks/purples but I test them all. If Retayne doesnt fix the dye then I dont use the fabric. Also, the Amazon price for this product was very good.

Greater than one weekThis product is terrific. It does exactly what it says it will do. I was able to pre-treat a length of blue batik that had bled all over a previously constructed quilt, so I wont have to worry about the blue bleeding in future quilt constructions. Also, I was able to rescue the quilt that had suffered the blue bleed using the companion product, Synthrapol.

Greater than one weekA must have for every quilter. You use Retayne in hot water to set the dye, but you MUST wash the fabric in cold water for it to keep the fabric from bleeding in the future. That should probably be on the label.

> 3 dayI use this product whenever I buy new jeans or dark pants. Ive used it on cotton blends as well as 100% cotton. It works fantastically - my kids school pants from last year are still nice looking and not faded at all, even after a year of wear & washes. Ive also used this in my quilting with excellent results. Highly recommended!
