> 3 dayOrdered from Amazon, sold by Tiger Textiles to set dye in fabric. Once received decided product was too labor intensive for my project. Instructions for use were to heat water to over 120 degrees, add cloth and solution and stir for 20 minutes, then dry. Requested return which I received but I had to pay return postage which was 35.02 and I only spent 33.73 on 2 bottles but wanted to return it the proper way and not just throw it out. My refund from Tiger textiles was only $14.38 so I am out 54.37 instead of just the cost of shipping return. I was told I was charged $19.35 as a restocking fee. Really a restocking fee was never mentioned in any correspondence. Very disappointed with Amazon but especially Tiger Textiles. Expensive lesson learned!!!!

> 3 dayDont quilt without this product. It sets the color in batiks, reds, navy blue, etc. There is almost nothing on the color catchers when this is added to the wash.

Greater than one weekI bought this to use as a fixitive for T-shirts that my kids made. You are supposed to presoak, then dry, then use Rit to dye them, dry, then resoak in this fixitive. The designs DID stay fast, but the color of the shirt changed completely. Meaning the main patterns stayed but the dye also ran enough to make the shirts completely change color.

> 3 dayHave used the product for years Whenever I purchase new quilting material the first step is to treat with Retayne. Have never had a color dull after treatment although I will admit putting it into hot water was scary at first. Reds, blues, purples...no problem after a Retayne treatment. Try it, no, make it your first step after purchasing quilt material. You will not be disappointed.
