It’s sooooo easy to use….and none of the colors bleed.

Color stays where it suppose too. Pre-washing fabric before using in a quilt. No bleeding of color when quilts are washed. YAY!!

This did the trick on my Batics. Had a large number of bright colors and soft yellow and greens. Nothing was ruined when using this. Best solution to wash after assembling a quilt.

Not cheap, but less expensive than scrapping an entire project because the dyes ran into other fabrics.

Did not work for me on cotton nightgown. Not sure why.

Always use to dye set my quilts

I am a basket weaver and dye my own reed. This is fantastic for setting the color and my dyed reed never bleeds.

I use Retayne to help preserve colors (or stop color bleed) especially on cotton fabrics (bold colors like red, dark purple or blue, and black) for a variety of sewing projects including quilts. Ive been very happy with the ease of use, and the results. Cost is fair. Id rather purchase from my local quilt fabric shop (to support small businesses) however, its been very difficult to find locally.
